You can protect your Mac, iPhone, iPad and other devices! ▸ New identity to use online:
Generate a brand-new online profile with Alternative ID! Added to your subscription, it gives an alternative email address, name, and more. Keep your true identity under wraps when registering for websites or newsletters. ▸ Secure & buffer-free content:
Safely access your favorite shows and social media with a VPN. Thanks to a vast choice of servers, you don’t need to compromise security to maintain a high-speed connection. ▸ Snoopers shall not pass: When you’re using public Wi-Fi, hackers can collect your data. With our end-to-end encryption, your data stays private. So turn the VPN on when using the free internet. ▸ Keep your data to yourself:
What do you get up to while connected to Surfshark? No one knows. We don't monitor, track, or store what you do online. Whatever you do stays with you. ▸ Speed? Not an issue:
With our servers reaching speeds of up to 10 Gbps, you can browse your favorite websites or watch movies without added buffering or compromising your security. ▸ Get — log in — auto-connect: That’s exactly how easy it is to use our app. You log in, select the server you need, and connect to it within seconds. Oh, and you can use the auto-connect feature for a completely effortless VPN connection! ▸ Limits? We don't have any: Browse the web like it was meant to be. We won't limit your devices, speed, or bandwidth. ▸ Connection protection with Kill Switch: Our Kill Switch helps you stay safe even when your VPN connection unexpectedly drops. It closes the internet connection and reconnects once the VPN connection is restored. ▸ Hop into double protection: Our Dynamic MultiHop feature lets you direct your traffic through two servers simultaneously. Even better, you can create your server pairs by mixing & matching any of the servers we have. ▸ Hi, Siri: You can use Siri Shortcuts to automate your app and manage your VPN connection without even opening the Surfshark app. ▸ VPN experts enjoy Surfshark as well: “It’s a one-stop VPN for privacy and security online, with a surprisingly deep list of extra tools and features.” - CultOfMac.com “It is a pleasure to see a new VPN service come across my desk that gets so much right. Overall, it's an excellent product.” - PCMag.com “Surfshark is a speedy and powerful VPN with an array of advanced features.” - TechRadar.com ▸ AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL: Surfshark is a paid VPN service, so you need a subscription to use it. The payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless the auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. We will charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of your subscription. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal after purchase by going to your App Store Account Settings. I installed the version directly from surfshark. It worked until I restored my system and the macOS kept giving me errors from login items. deleted surfshark and errors remained. Support was zero help. Turns out that surfshark installs stuff in a bunch of non-standard undocumented places on macOS that there is zero documentation so no one can help you remove. Completely deleted from my system, then tried to reinstall from website. Launching it caused it to continuously launch and quit. Deleted from my system. Installed it from Appstore and now it works. Conclusion: when it works, it works great, when it doesn’t, you are on your own, Surfshark support is clueless.
  • Quickly Failing…

I’ve been a subscriber for over six (6) years now and currently have 996 days remaining on my current subscription. On Android and Windows based systems the only complaint I have is the increasingly occurring “freezing” or lagging of your product. However, with regard to MAC and IOS I have never seen a VPN disrupt an entire operating system as the past three (3) or four (4) Surf Shark updates have seemingly caused. I am a big fan of redundancy therefore having what I consider “the best” VPN’s at my disposal is important. Express, Nord, Proton, Hide.Me and Surf Shark are my choices. Mostly due to the non-subscription to the Five (5) or Thirteen (13) Eyes (which I consider of the utmost importance) but of course the speeds, numerical value of servers, audits, latency, basic abilities and CUSTOMER SERVICE <— Back to this one in a moment. The disruption of the entire WiFi or LTE/5G connection is only seen within the Surf Shark MAC/IOS app(s) under the IKEv/Wire Guard Protocol in which you can actually watch the VPN Tab in “Settings” bounce back and forth between connected/disconnected. This, of course, completely blocks ANY connection and will freeze the device in which the only operation that can be performed is forcing a shutdown of the hardware followed by removing the VPN Configuration upon reboot. This is followed by the completely necessary uninstall/reinstall of your software. And yes, I have chatted with and emailed support with the only solutions being “don’t use our WireGuard” Protocol, uninstall/reinstall, install from the URL not the App Store, install from the App Store not the URL, “Use our WireGuard not IKEv2”…so on and so on. Still to this exact moment it may connect, but probably not, might freeze, or simply cycle through the eight (8) connection attempts. Finally customer service has just fallen. Obviously with the number of days/time remaining on my subscription I will add twelve (12) months here and there when I see what I consider a good deal. I had apparently purchased an additional two (2) years around two (2) years back and on my login account I had mistakingly placed .com instead of the correct .ch (or it was auto corrected). Again since I have a bit of time on my account I didn’t look into it. Last month I had received an email advising my account was canceling as my term period was ending. I looked into this and while chatting with SShark concerning the above mentioned problem which will not go away. I noticed the slight difference in email address’ on the accounts and brought it to the rep’s attention. Yep, it was a simple mistake due to lack of “attention to detail” on my part, I admitted this in jest. After this and the inability to correct the ongoing connection issues I had asked “if, possibly, maybe, kinda, yes, no…” I could have a month added onto my, at the time, three (3) year subscription as I had purchased two (2) additional years however due to my mistake in typing the email I hadn’t used it at all and just wasted time. Longer story even shorter this was utterly ignored. I would’ve happily accepted ANY response. JUST RESPOND. But nope, crickets. And I still have an expensive software subscription which works…just joking. It doesn’t work. Unless I am on an Android or Windows based system but in a home with Four (4) iPhones, three (3) iPad Pro’s, and Three (3) Mac’s this fact doesn’t really help. Neither does Support.

Super easy to use across all devices. Great to have if you use public wifi locations. The only thing that’s not great that I’ve noticed is that Amazon slows down or doesn’t load if your location doesn’t match where Amazon thinks you should be.

    Good job
  • The absolute best VPN

I have tried multiple VPN’s and found that Surfshark is by far the best. The other VPN’s I used was spotty, very slow, or didn’t work as expected. With Surfshark I have a good connection at all times, and if I ever have any issue, the Surfshark team is available all the time to help. I have been with them for like 5-6 years and have never had a problem. Best VPN I have used.
  • Why get it if I have to use Bypass

Formost anything to work? Firefox, Arc and DDG. None work unless you add them to Bypass. My Creative Cloud app won’t work even with it on Bypass. Trying to use Wiz on my phone? Nope won’t connect. Now they won’t offer a refund because I was with them less than six months ago on a renewal. Never again.

Very simple to use in a multi-device scenario. Prompts for updates for install at your leisure. Highly recommended.
