I was in dinner in Tampa recently and parked in one of their lots. The parking machine was broken. The young man waving the red flag was very helpful in showing me the app and helping to fill it out. I got a receipt and went to have dinner. When I got back to my car, there was a notice that I owed $75+ for not paying to park. I’ve sent in my receipt of payment and this company refuses to reverse the fine. This is an unprofessional, sleazy organization. Park elsewhere.
  • Genuinely Awful

BE WARNED: You CANNOT delete your license plate or credit card from this app manually. Instead, you have to jump through a bunch of ridiculous and tedious hoops just to get this removed. What kind of app doesn’t let you just hold down on a card or even swipe to delete it? Who on earth designed this?? I submitted a data deletion request, got a confirmation email that contained a “link to view my case” that doesn’t even work. I’ve submitted another request via their ticketing system, and now I just have to wait. I will keep pestering them until my information is permanently deleted, I’m not letting my credit card just sit out there. 717, whatever developers you have on this app, fire them. Users should have full control over their payment methods, they should not be locked into your app and only removable when an entire account gets deleted. I only used this because another parking pass I had purchased also had issues and this one was advertised all over the lot near Amalie Arena. Safe to say I am never using this again whenever I see a Lightning Game, ridiculous process to get user information deleted.
  • Terrible Service for Incorrect Citation

Frankly this has nothing to do with the app. 717 customer service is horrific. I received an incorrect citation and have been essentially ghosted by customer service. No easy way to contact them in case of issues. If you can avoid parking at these lots, I’d recommend it.
  • Glitch

I’ve parked with 717 parking for years and I’ve always used the ParkMobile app. Yesterday I went to Tampa theater to see a movie and use the same app. I needed parking for about 3 1/2 hours and the app told me it was gonna be $12.36, it had me select my tag number and had me hit submit. Somehow there was a glitch in the system because when I got back, I had a little notice on my windshield telling me I didn’t pay for parking. I quickly went to the app to look at my history and low and behold nothing was there. I wrote customer service to tell them about the issue. They kindly told me that it was not their problem and I owed the $50. They were absolutely no help and I can promise that I will never park with 717 parking again!!!! I am extremely unhappy!

Be sure you don’t mistype your license plate number, customer service will not be “able to validate your payment”. Regardless of documentation that shows otherwise.
  • My Recommendation is to Avoid Them

I would recommend avoiding patronizing this group. I was attending a conference in Ybor City and was under the impression that parking was provided in the lot across the street which was run by 717. It was not and they assessed an unreasonably punitive fee for the mistake. Instead of ~$10.50 I was charged $15+$40+5... $60 total. I reached out to them to ask to be able to pay the fee without the punitive charges and their customer service rep acted as if they did not understand me rather than interact with my request. My guess is that they are quite happy to receive the premium for the parking and that this is part of their model... they showed no concern and no mercy.
  • Pay for your public parking!

This company has ruined Tampa parking by buying up every open parking lot to nickel and dime residents to park anywhere. Parking lots, garages, even street parking. Wish I could leave a lower rating.

Payed to park and they still issue “Parking Notice” for $45. This is why I don’t do business with 717. Even if they’re the valet service at a restaurant, I would not trust these crooks in my car. First the parking lot has “by the hour parking” posted but instantly charges you 20$ for All Day. I should have walked away at that point. But for the sake of convenience I took the chance and payed the 20$. I even put my receipt on display on the dash in clear view. The irony here, the photo they took of the “parking citation” they placed under my windshield wiper clearly shows the paid receipt. 🤦🏻‍♂️ So is it a scam or do they just employ idiots? You be the judge!!! With the history they have it’s hard to believe it’s a mistake. In perfect conclusion, the “genius” the decided to write the “parking notice” didn’t even enter the correct license plate. 🤣😂
