  • Solid app — one additional feature would make it great.

    I have the paid version and from what’s available my ability to sight read rhythm has definitely improved. However, there is one feature that would really take this app to the next level. I would really love to be able to program in a particular rhythm — not a full song length, but a few measures — so that I can drill tricky rhythms in songs I’m reading more effectively. This way I’d have some way to hear where I’m going wrong, with a “teacher” that knows when I play it correctly. Overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend it for anyone struggling with reading rhythms.

    Laggy and basically unusable on an iPhone 14 Pro. Apparently this is optimized for the newest gear: if you don’t have it, save your money. They have similar drills on musicca.com, and they’re free. Let me know if you guys decide to offer calibration for different phones.

    This app would be amazing but there is no compound meter (no 6/8 or 3/8 or 9/8 etc). As a teacher using this to drill rhythm skills with my students, that is a big disappointment.

    It's a really good app with potential to make it big but stalled by a huge paywall. I think if the creator makes it a 1 time fee of $7-$15 or even $20 it could be worth it. $60 a year is too much for a simple rhythm app, at that price you can do statistics or extended rhythm games.

    This app is helping our daughter learn to dictate rhythm and I do like the app. However, in the dictation exercises you cannot replay the rhythm which is super annoying. You only hear it once and in a busy home it’s super frustrating that if she doesn’t get it the first time she has to start all over again. In my opinion this ruins the app for us.

    With the songs it’s not exactly telling you which beat to follow and when you don’t get all the greens it doesn’t tell you the percent which I for some reason like to know but anyway as a rhythm guitar player this makes absolutely no sense to me I feel like this would defo help as a drummer tho and also the 10 minute timer needs to go

    It works really well I am terrible at piano but this helps me a lot it’s very simple so even for a beginner this will work it teaches you really good rhythm and sight reading really awesome
