I used the original Art Studio for years. There are so great features in the ArtStudio Pro but it took time to find files under my old Art Studio, learn how to use the new tools and cry over some of the tools missing in the Pro. Need better Tutorial.

This program is excellent for doing lots of image manipulation tasks without having to spend a ton of money or to have to learn much more complex applications.
  • Great for New Desktop Artists!

I came from an iPad and spent long time trying to find a platform on my computer that didn’t crash or freeze; it’s very similar to Procreate in how it looks, but the controls are similar to other desktop art platforms without being overly complicated. So far worth the 20 dollars.

I have been using this app on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac for a few years now. It has been wonderful, and a great replacement of Photoshop, at least for my needs.

I definitely think that once you get used to using this platform for drawing and sketching like it’s used for, it’s such a great tool ! Its a little confusing for me still but I just know people who have more experience with this will be able to use it

I’ve been using ArtStudio Pro for years and it’s been a very reliable and flexible program. Being able to switch seamlessly between my iPad and my Mac with no glitches whatsoever has been a tremendous help. I prefer to use apps like ArtStudio Pro, that aren’t too big and bloated…the interface is simple and the team working on it seem to have a passion for it, which comes through when using the app.

To start, Artstudio Pro is an awesome app. Specially if you’re NOT coming from the iPad. If you are however, like myself, on the desktop Artstudio pro is a bit lacking. In settings there are a lot of features missing in comparison to the iPad version. No quick menu or customizable shortcut keys to name a few. I hope and wish the desktop version gets updated to mirror the iPad version. That would be fantastic.
  • Worth It

This app is 10 times better than Procreate, and I recommend getting it. It’s also a one time payment but is a little more. But you can use it on your MacBook as well as your iPad. While I do wish it had the vector capabilities like Adobe Fresco, Adobe is the worst. But you CAN use all the adobe photoshop brushes with this and that’s amazing. There are a few mechanics that I personally would like added or tweaked but I love this app regardless.

This app is exactly what I was looking for in a photo editor, particualrly when it comes to powerful layer tools and controls. For only 20 bucks, it's an unbelievable value.
