  • Useful, but lackluster in key aspects

The way total album streams are tracked are inaccurate, because it only includes songs that are above 1,000 streams. That alone is disheartening for independent artists. Additionally, the data is lagging, at least for me. I write this review as of June 9, 2025, but the streaming data is only showing data up until June 5, 2025. And when it comes to looking through which countries your music has been streamed in, Spotify should follow suit with what Apple has done and allow for a Year-To-Date and Lifetime view of this; don’t just limit it to 28 days. I know Spotify Wrapped for Artists capture the total amount of countries, but we can’t rely on that to show specific countries and figure out our target audience and certain demographics.

I don’t know what’s going on over there in Spotify Land, but this app has been off for a while now. Monthly stream counts don’t match up with the counts on the actual Spotify app. Now only half the app with update daily. It’s a sad time when AppleMusic for Artists is doing a better job than Spotify for Artists. Get it together!

No real stream numbers of under 1k? What a trash app. Spotify has destroyed their apps for indie artist who aren’t a Taylor swift or a lady gag-ga.

Got a new phone and tried to login into the app and it’s telling me I need to claim my artist that I have ALREADY claimed and I am unable to claim its since it’s ALREADY claimed. Terrible experience with this.
  • Can’t login without updating

Every time I try to open the app it says I need to update, sends me to the App Store where the only option is “Open” and it opens the app to the same “update app” alert. Worthless.

I do most of my work on my iPad and it would be great to be able to access my information via the iPad. The phone’s too small for how I like to view my Spotify updates.
  • Can’t update

I can’t update this app because I need iOS 18 but my phone is only updated up to 16.7 and can’t go further than that currently. It’s useless now and I have to see the analytics through the website on my computer. I’m not getting a new phone just to update one dumb app.
  • Fix the app.
