Description

A new mobile "Fate RPG," presented by TYPE-MOON! With an impressive main scenario and multiple character quests, the game features millions of words of original story! Packed with content that both fans of the Fate franchise and newcomers will be able to enjoy. Summary 2017 A.D. Chaldea, an organization tasked with observing Earth's future, has confirmed that human history will be eliminated at 2019. Without warning, the promised future of 2017 disappeared. Why? How? Who? By what means? AD. 2004. A certain provincial town in Japan. For the first time ever, a region that could not be observed appeared. Assuming that this was the cause of humanity’s extinction, Chaldea carried out its sixth experiment - time travel into the past. A forbidden ceremony where they would convert humans into Spiritrons and send them back in time. By intervening in events, they would locate, identify, and destroy the space-time Singularities. The mission classification is an order to protect Humanity: Grand Order. This is the title for those who would take a stand against human history and battle fate in order to protect mankind. The story grabs your attention and keeps it, the character designs are amazing, and their personalities are just as interesting. The only reason I wouldn’t give It a full five stars is because of the pity system, it’s a bit harsh. You have to pull 330 times to get the desired servant guaranteed. Along with wanting more attention to the MC in the storyline. (I’m not fully caught up with the story, so that complaint may change in the future.) Besides those two, I love this game immensely and the community the comes with it! I never want FGO to end!!!

It the challenging fights and sheer amount of time you spend of the storyline makes it feel so much more immersive. The amount of history I’ve learned playing this game, I would learn something then hear about it in History weeks later. (Ex: Wu Zetian, Mata Hari, Ivan the Terrible, etc)
  • Best story hands down!

The story in this game is amazing. The power creep is nonexistent and the shelf life of servants (units) in this game are basically forever. Even the free servants given out via the friend banner (free pulls) are very useful. Honestly give it a try and read the story because it’s honestly what’s kept me going this far.

Game has a bunch of archaic systems and really terrible rates. Firstly let's get this out of the way, it is a basic turnbased rpg, nothing fancy, not good or bad, perfectly serviceable. I treat this game more like a novel while turning my brain off for the majority of content. The game doesnt expect you to collect everything nor does it make every high rarity unit good. The game is VERY stingy with currency too, i will not defend this. Fortunately it is f2p friendly enough as 98% of the game is objectively proven to be able to be cleared by low rarity and free units as long as you build smart. You can borrow a friend's support unit so you dont need to fret too much if you need to borrow an overpowered unit. The game shines in the story and characters which is how they make you roll for mediocre units against your better judgment. The game actually does expect you to play so there is no auto battle and you actually have to clear the story enough to be able to participate in these monotonously long events. Thankfully you can borrow friend units and they give you handicap abilities to use if you cant clear it with confidence. I give it 4 stars because the game is purely a mobile game; a game that wants you to play for brief intervals at most due to a stamina system so you cant no life it. Reason 2 is because the game is easy and you dont need every new shiny (mediocre) unit. If you have self control and do not expect to get everything with a good story attached then go for it.

I will not spend money outside GSSR anymore unless there is an animated remake of the fate route done by ufotable
