Description

Zero is the all-in-one fasting tracker and nutrition app built for real results. Most fasting and weight loss apps stop at simply tracking fasts or calories. Zero connects the full picture — fasting, protein, meals, hydration, and habits — so you actually change your body composition, not just your eating schedule. Here’s how Zero helps you get there: • Track your intermittent fasting — Engage timers, streaks, and insights keep you stay motivated and consistent on your entire fasting journey. • Log meals the smart way — Skip the tedious manual meal entry routine. Snap a photo and get instant macros, protein composition, and clarity on how effectively your meals support your goals. • Hit your Protein Score — Track your personalized daily protein target that adapts to your weight and goals. Better protein = better satiety, better muscle retention, better weight loss. Zero makes it automatic. • Complete the equation: Fasting + Protein — Most people fast or track meals. Zero brings them together so you lose weight, protect muscle, and avoid the pressure and guilt of traditional calorie trackers. • Stay hydrated to power your fasts — Water tracking helps you maintain energy, reduce cravings, and support metabolic function throughout the day. • Build healthy habits that actually matter — Track movement, sleep, mood, and other daily pillars that reinforce your fasting and fueling routine. • Challenge yourself — Hit protein targets, maintain fasting streaks, and stay accountable with motivating challenges built around outcomes, not vanity metrics. • Learn the real science — Understand how fasting, protein, and hydration work together for sustainable weight loss and metabolic health — with insights from leading experts. • See measurable progress — Watch your streaks grow, your protein consistency rise, and your body composition improve with clean, insightful trend views. Whether you’re starting out or optimizing an existing routine, Zero gives you the structure, guidance, and clarity most apps miss. • Hate new version

I fast to not track food and want a way to hide these new unwanted features. Was fine, clean, functional before as a fasting tracker. Now interface and progress is cluttered and adds steps.
  • Need a couple more options

I wish it linked to a carb manager tracker and I’d like a Feasting Window to start with a time or goal.
  • Update - Still Apparently Free to use

UPDATE: So either the popup that was forcing you to select a plan to use the app was in error (had no way to dismiss it so couldn't use the app any longer) OR the Developer saw the error of its ways after user backlash and decided to back away from the forced plan selection and added a Close 'X' button to the popup. Either way the app is once again usable by those of us who just need it for a fasting timer and don't want all the extras. Timer app to track your fasting that I've been using for several years. Used to all free use of the timer functions and you could pay/sign up for extra food/meal tracking and coaching. Log in today to track my fast and now being forced to select a pay plan (free for only 7 days). Guess it's time to find a new app and lose all my prev years worth of tracking data. Sad
  • Forced trial subscription

From my experience and from reading reviews, it appears that this app selects some users and displays a dialogue box that requires a trial subscription. This box cannot be closed, so the user is either forced to subscribe or stop using the app. The user’s access is effectively locked until she/he subscribes. Then, minutes later, access is unlocked. While locked out, I found a competing app that I will try for now. I may come back to Zero, but at this time, I’m not sure.

Don’t like the latest update. Preferred the free version that tracked, fasting, sleep, physical activity, and mood. Don’t like the new pillars and that they try to get you to pay
  • I don’t like you prioritizing protein and displacing sleep and exercise on your daily activities…..

Ads for premium service every time you open the app, and this week they forced you to subscribe to their premium service to use the app at all.
  • Changed goals

I had just hit 100 days in a row of getting 4/4 pillars and now they changed them with no way of going back to the previous ones. I used this app since I was able to quickly see if I had fasted 12 hours, slept 7 hours, worked out for 20 minutes, and meditated for at least 2 minutes all in one place now I need 4 different places to see that making this app useless.
  • New version features not integrated with Health app

They are trying to call ch up to other apps with the meal scanning and water tracking. However, neither of these new features integrate with the health app. I had my hopes up when I saw the new features. But, without the data integration with Health, it’s still unusable. I’m hoping this is just an oversight. They integrate with Health for other things. Seems odd they wouldn’t do the new features, too.
