Description

Measure the effectiveness of your schoolwide culture initiatives like PBIS, SEL, RTI & MTSS With just a tap on our mobile app, track and reinforce the behaviors that make up your ideal school culture in real-time - from positive traits like 'teamwork' and 'perseverance' to behaviors like 'dishonesty' and 'disruption'. Kickboard provides the means for schools to accurately track behavior data, assess culture needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and reward students. We are unique in helping you facilitate all aspects of a fully integrated PBIS, SEL, MTSS, or RTI model and support schools in creating a positive school climate. UC Behavior Supports’s Family Portal shows a detailed view of each student’s daily activity that can be viewed in real-time online or on our mobile apps. Send direct messages between parents and staff through the app.

My daughter school uses this app, in the beginning I never had an issue then a few months in after having the app I started getting a code that always states ( UC Behavior Support… Something Went Wrong. Please Try Again Later ) it’s glitchy & also slow. Please fix. Definitely have the potential to be a great app.

It’s very annoying being logged out. It doesn’t allow my phone to save login credentials which adds to the frustration.

For the last week it keeps giving a pop up message that states “something went wrong, please try again later”.
  • Awful for parents

Notifications do not work. Labels for contacts do not work, instead when a parent sends a message it shows up as “child’s family member” and not the correct child when multiple children. Messaging is not functional or reliable. For a communication app it needs significant work and schools should avoid at all costs! Horrible!

The app and desktop website are both so slow and glitchy that it is extremely impractical to use them with fidelity for PBIS in a classroom setting. Points that you give to students on the app don’t sync to the desktop website without refreshing, and vice versa. Attendance is inconsistent across the app and desktop site. Also, and perhaps most importantly, there is NO audible feedback for students earning points on either platform, which is certainly would be one of the most useful aspects of this platform from a classroom management perspective. Overall, it seems as if Kickboard, or “Universal Classroom Behavior Support,” was developed without any input from teachers nor any short- or long-term field testing. I only continue to use it because I literally have no choice at my school.

I have log in daily and it is very frustrating
  • No Kickboard Classic means no list view

PLEASE add a vertical list view to both the app and the website. I input points for my classrooms in real time and ai cannot do that efficiently with a grid layout. Alphabetized lists are much more mentally efficient. PLEASE add list view back, for Pete’s sake.

It’s super easy to use and it’s a great way to keep kids engaged. It’s fun for the kids to have something to work for and keeps the classroom environment supportive. I love it.
