Drag, drop, and share your biggest files. You can transfer 3GB of files or folders safely and seamlessly around the world with a free account, or log in to WeTransfer Ultimate to send without limits. Click the icon in your menu bar to choose which files to send, or drag and drop multiple items right onto the icon. You'll get a download link that you can share with people before the transfer is deleted after seven days. With WeTransfer Ultimate, you can send without limits — more uploads, larger files, and custom expiration dates.

  • Buggy & Unstable on MAC

    Installed, uninstalled, reinstalled MAC desktop interface 5X. Constantly fails to upload. Tried to “Report A Problem”. No Response!. And I pay for a Pro account. Going to cancel due to lack of customer support & switching to any one of 5 free services.

    Honestly this thing is so convenient, if you use WeTransfer then I highly recommend this. It saves me from having to open a browser, navigate to WeTransfer, login (sometimes), then go back to my files and upload. Instead, right from my folder I can just drag the files or folder to the little icon and it’s done. Plus you can see all of your uploads and even right click to open them in a browser.

    It was a great service once, but now it's almost useless. 3 days life for transfered files only? And 2 transfers per day only? Come on... Paid version is not even an option. Switching to alternatives.

    Excellent service and app (for macOS). Shame about unnecessary restrictions (after a few uploads everything gets blocked - competitors do it smarter).

    This app has worked well for a while but in the last few weeks I upload a file from Mac OS X Finder and I get an error. The only fix is to close the wetransfer app, re-open it, and try to upload the file again. It will work after closing and re-opening the app. Frustrating issue, I am closing and opening this app a dozen times a day right now to send my files.

    I have a premium teams account. The desktop app only allows you to send 3 links a day. It will not update from the free account settings.

  • Missing more than it offers

    It’s nice to be able to upload via the menu bar. But that’s all this offers. The main thing I want the app for is to get a notification when a client uses my wetransfer account to upload something to me. Or to get a notification that a client has downloaded something I’ve sent to them. When I click the icon for the dropdown, I want to see what has been sent to me, what has been downloaded, etc. But all it shows is what you’ve sent. And when you click “all transfers” it just opens a browser tab to go to the wetransfer website. I might as well just leave a tab open with wetransfer and refresh it every now and then. This app doesn’t really help with anything.

    Sometimes WeTransfer works like a charm, and then other times it plods along so slowly I could cry. I’ve used their calculators to see how long a file should take and it sometimes takes 1000% longer. I can’t depend on it for work.
