  • No attachment feature for Travelers

    We require travelers to provide government issued photo ID as proof of age as we have a minimum age requirement of at least 25 years old. The VRBO app for the traveler does not allow them to attach a photo ID. We have to instruct them how to use the web browser to send the requested information. This is a hassle factor for us.
  • App errors out a lot and is not easy to communicate with guests

    The Vrbo app has daily glitches and when a potential guest wants to book it’s hard for them to dialog with us owners. Then if we need to decline a request because the guest input wrong dates or something the app says we will be penalized in our ranking. Fees are high for both parties in transaction and not much service offered to offset. Often our homes don’t appear in searches despite hosting over 2,000 stays over 8 years.

    Not user friendly at all compared to air bnb. Lots of issues too many to list It seems crazy to me that this company can afford adds all over the place and yet have such a Terrible user experience. One of the worker product/app/companies I feel I have to deal with currently

    If someone book through instant booking; you cannot cancel unless you pay cancellation fee. If you send an updated quote to someone; they block your days; if you cancel the quote; you still pay cancellation. No use verification done by VRBO. Anyone can book. This is a joke..
  • I would prefer if the app. Front loaded the tenant reviews up front

    I care about having good tenants. The most important aspect of renting is having a “no drama “ experience. The only forecast for no drama is the past reviews, a well reviewed tenants is easy to confirm. the app would be improved with this review information right up front, if the tenant has no history, tell me. If the tenant has good reviews tell me so I can accept on my phone app. Without digging.

    This house is so beautiful! Nicely decorated mixing antiques with modern furnishings. Beds are amazing! Front porch with swing and huge, pruvate front yard for kids to play. Huge private backyard with grill, seating and dining area.

    I have been using this app for more than 5 years, and since then, it has become increasingly disappointing every year. You can never get what you need; I am extremely disappointed. Every step is very hard work, and you never can get what you need. I have reported issues so many times, but there have never been any improvements. I initially thought it was a problem with my old phone, but now, even after using a brand new phone for 6 months, I still encounter the same problems. I will suggest changing developers because it’s a terrible app.

    I haven’t been able to log in. The AP doesn’t recognize my credentials. Have reported to having to use the web version for everything which is extremely inconvenient. VRBO hasn’t been able to help and has abandoned me…
