StepBet is a cool idea, the step tracker is very inaccurate usually 500 below if not up to 2000 below my regular Apple step count. no amount of updating makes it accurate.

I’ve done many StepBets and while I enjoy the game and concept, the app is really glitchy. It takes forever to upload and I constantly have to close out and restart the app just to sync my steps.

I won a game on StepBet and when I try to cash my money out, it keeps on saying reversed and Cancelled. I tried to cash out my winnings about 4 times and now however, I still get the same message.

This app is a scam. Unless you are a member they steal 50% of the earnings. I should have won $14 but I for $6. The pot was $20k and 368 were left of 500. You have to walk 6 of the 7 days so god for bid you get sick you are out the $40 you put in. Not worth winning $6 for. Additional not everyone has the same step goals. Mine was tremendously higher than most in the challenge so it’s not equal. Reaching out to support gets you no where because it doesn’t change the fact they are scammers.

DO NOT Download this app if you want your earnings. I am in a pending payout for weeks and there is absolutely no excuse for an app of this magnitude to have an issue with the processing transactions period. Horrible business practices.

I clicked to join a 3-week “trial membership” game and it immediately charged me $65 for an annual membership through my iPhone. I’ve sent half a dozen emails to support over the past weeks with no response except for one telling me to cancel the subscription and no further instructions. I did, but no refund. Early last week I emailed to tell them that if they keep ignoring me I have to leave a bad review & report to BBB, and still no help. Absolute rip off.
  • Under new company. Won’t email me back.

I emailed them twice to cancel a game I signed up for. It’s been weeks with no response. So I emailed WayBetter, who is very fast when you email them and they informed me that StepBet is under a new company now. They even contacted them for me, and they still haven’t responded.
