  • Not friendly user app

    Ended up deleting it when I was on chapter 3 and it wanted more coins to get past chapter one. You should not have to keep going through each chapter to get to the chapter you’ve already read. Then to want more coins to see a chapter you have already read was just crazy. The app is NOT well thought out.

    I’m frustrated with the Hooked. I downloaded the app. Was able to use for a short time then every time I try to open the app it won’t open. So I deleted the app. Losing my progress in the stories. I downloaded it again. Same thing happened. I able to read a little then the app stopped working. I give up.

    About the advertise novel, it’s not user friendly. It doesn’t stay the last page you read. Want you to purchase more coins to continue reading. I say one star for this App

    I was hoping to read a good alpha novel that I was teased with through an ad. I’m very disappointed that there are no free options to read these books. Most apps will allow you to earn coins to read this has no options except to buy. And to boot in the privacy terms it states you can get a weekly subscription which is incorrect as well you can literally ONLY buy coins which will get to be costly considering the second chapter to unlock is 35 coins. Unless you enjoy wasting your money for fake coins that are over priced..this app is not worth your time.

    Enjoyed the first 2 thirds of the story. It appears that either the story was finished by someone else or the author thought it would be a good idea to get drunk before finishing it. The last third contains consistent grammatical errors, blatant illogical storyline inconsistencies and generally poor thought processes. But, the worse problem with the site is absolutely no daily free reading awards.

    I got the app, it doesn’t give you any instructions on how it works whatsoever. And when you see the ad which is what made me get this in the first place. You want to continue reading it and it tells you if you want to, simply download the app and you’ll get to for free, it wouldn’t let me continue past the point in the add unless I paid ten dollars for it, and it didn’t even offer many coins. I could buy multiple books where I’m at for that much. Plus, there’s no way of getting coins for free. Please, if you’re going to make this a free app, and say we can read the whole story for free, don’t make us have to spend money to do so. Instead, let us read it for free, as what’s said when downloading it. I hope for changes and that something will be done about this, if not, I’ll simply delete it and try to find another app. Which would be a shame because I’d truly like to continue to read this.

    One of the worst, inconvenient reading apps I’ve used. The story I was trying to read was actually good but between the chapters made up of duplicated paragraphs and the inability to easily advance chapters, I had to stop. Frustrating and just not worth it. Unfortunate.

    No store. No purchase options other than “coins”. No options to adjust the background is bright white! Who wants to read a bright white book at night? No thanks. Pass. Galatea and a thousand other apps outshine this one. It’s not worth it for one book.

    All the other apps I read books on have ways to earn coins daily, I don’t have the income to buy coins often- was hoping there would be a subscription. App seems really basic.
