I waited a couple months thinking they would get bugs out of software or try to let me know what else to try. Nothing. Still nothing. Do not buy this product unless all you are looking for is a remote thermometer.

Even though the probe readout has tenths of a degree, the readings are only accurate to a degree centigrade, so 1,8 ° F. I cannot tell the trend of the temperature in my pond, so don’t know when I have to turn on my protocol that keeps my Koi safe. LaCrosse’s old probe was perfect. Why is this one so inaccurate? Nothing else available so I’m stuck.

I have had this app for several years. Last year was the first year I paid for the subscription to see the advantages. Now it struggles pulling up data for rain (1 Day). It is sloooww in reaction time. I lost my photos for the screens for no apparent reason. (I don’t believe these issues has any correlation to my paid subscription though.)

I have used La Crosse equipment for many years. It has become so unreliable since Nov ‘24. Not loading again today. It is even reported offline weekly, problems, etc. If this reliability issue isn’t resolved soon, I will purchase other equipment. I have remote 2 sites. The app is the issue. Not my equipment or connection to it. Sadly I have recommended 3 other persons that have brought their equipment and express the same issue
  • unreliable, buggy garbage that manages to keep getting worse

if you guys want people to pay a subscription fee for your app’s features and services, try offering features and services that actually have value. But before you do that, you should focus on fixing the myriad bugs and UX flaws in what you already have. i’m NEVER buying lacrosse wx equipment again.

Keeps going back to another location. Very unhelpful app.
  • Nearly Useless App

Although the weather station display is beautiful and has much information, the app on the other hand, basically gives you temperature and humidity—that’s it. It doesn’t even give you the barometer reading or any of the data coming in from the NWS—so no forecast—not even wind chill. Not sure what the point of the App really is?

If your modem does not connect to the 2.4GHz, use another weather app to get your outdoor temperature on your phone! Poor customer support, disappointed in all my LaCrosse products; not dependable, I recommend Oregon!
