  • I bought an Apple Watch because of this app!

I really like this app, I like how they rate the trails, have photos and videos, and I’m amazed at a whole new world of trails I didn’t know about in the area where I live. But then there’s so much more in the community and social network of Trailforks that make it like its own little universe.
  • Doesn’t download, endless nagging

Doesn’t download a region (NV) despite all attempts. Endless nagging for paid stuff. Essentially useless if you don’t pay them the yearly $60-90 they push you to pay over and over with their dumb ad overlays and “you cheap bastrd here are all the things you don’t get for free you cheap bstrd.”
  • Has potential, Needs better development.

Apple Watch app needs to provide confirmation of export to Strava. My activity didn’t even make it to Strava. Data wasn’t correct either. Has a long was to go before this app can complete with other trackers. WorkOutDoors app works much better. On the phone app, as of right now, I cannot download offline trail maps. I’m able to download the basic regions, such as Florida, Georgia and such, but not the specific trail locations. Removing Strava activity import to Trailforks was a big mistake. Not all of us want to use the Track My Ride apps. I prefer Cyclemeter with export to Strava. Not all apps have the same user interface and experience. For me to use Trailforks for tracking my activities, it would have to play a lot more friendly with other apps and services and provide more sensor connectivity; better data collection and export to apple health. I use this app mostly for trail discovery and updates to trail conditions, it’s quite good for this.
  • Waiting for AppleWatch Support

The app works great I won’t go into it as there is plenty of positive reviews already. But the one thing I need to justify a yearly subscription price would be the addition of applewatch support with Maps/Navigation.
  • Probably best MTB trails app

It may look more technical, but honestly this is the most reliable and useful trails app. Don’t get lost in big trails, download this. Works great offline. Pro mode even better, but they’ll let you do your region and view your location just fine for free. I don’t even open the other apps anymore.

  • Good, but…

Great app! Only thing is sometimes it just says my account is deactivated or something weird like that when I try to look at pictures or videos. Otherwise app is recommended if you’re a mountain biker or actually really essential basically. If you’re going to like a new location to bike that you haven’t been in a different place where you don’t live this up is necessary.

Been a subscriber from day 1 and have always liked the app but suddenly I’m being told I need a subscription to send a route to my garmin device. I’m logged in and it clearly shows my plan is O+ but still errors.
  • Ride changer!

Trailforks is so helpful. I see people using it and referring to it often. I’ve traveled several states in the past few months and Trailforks is always there and always accurate.
