  • Glitchy

Always worked pretty well for me and loved the actual flow of the software itself, but these last few months the app has been horridly glitchly! Sent out so many emails that showed in my sent folder, only to go in the next day and NONE had gone out. This along with whole afternoons of it not updating and having to constantly use web browser GMail to see if I had new email caused me to switch to Apple Mail and haven't had issues. This happened to my coworker as well.

I always hold out as long as possible to update since each update brings new bugs. Pop-up menus for calendar events don’t work with the latest update.
  • Great improvement

I noticed over the years how the design and overall Outlook functionality is more and more user friendly, thank you!

I am not fond of the Mac setup. I used the Windows setup for a while. Personally, I think the windows setup is much easier to navigate and the Mac is somewhat tedious
  • Block and Report don’t work at all

I have my very first hotmail account made on my outlook (since at least 2012) on my outlook app. It has been in many data breaches so i get A LOT of emails (can range from 15 emails to up to 40 emails A DAY) of random spam/phishing/extortion. Most days i get a bulk from one singular email address and every single email i use block and then report separately since the outlook app doesnt have a block and report button in one like the browser version. The block and report from the outlook app do absolutely nothing. sometimes real emails get sent to junk and i mark it as not junk. STILL gets sent to junk. I block email addresses. STILL get emails from the same address. I report emails. STILL does nothing. I finally decided to use the outlook browser version yesterday out of convenience to check something else on my account. I did my normal process of blocking and report or marking as not junk except on the browser. I have had an accumulative of 12 spam emails since i switched to the browser version 4 days ago. The outlook app is pure trash.

I appreciate that I can have my email in a separate window, but finding where to adjust the settings and preferences is quite the trick. I’ve yet to find where to find the settings that I selected when I initially signed in to my Outlook account.
