    I can’t believe I’m getting nonstop ads for an app I’ve paid for. It completely busts my workflow. If I need to quickly look a word up, I don’t have 30 seconds to hear about some thinly veiled sex app. I need a definition so I can keep working, or reading, or whatever. This isn’t an online fame for Christ’s sake.

    The functionality is absolutely great, but I don’t like the looks of the app that much. I feel like the app is putting too many letters on bold, which hinders my ability to see the definitions clearly. Other than that single problem, everything else is working perfectly fine.

    I paid to have the full version and after this year’s update I started receiving ads and the app says that i have to subscribe. What about my previous payment ? I thought it was a lifelong purchase, just as it was mentioned. Why not make only new users or people without the full version pay for your subscription… therefore, it feels like a ripoff

    Any feature I tap on seems paywalled and the premium fee is exorbitant. I’d rather carry an old-timey tiny dictionary with me everywhere than pay 40 dollars a year for this app premium. In light of the tone-deaf dev reply, I’ll throw in that If you want an app with a much more reasonable subscription price and more features at its free tier, check Miriam Webster’s.

    I am sick and tired of trying to use this woeful app. Just about every time I type in a word or dictate a word. It comes up with nothing. I thought perhaps I was in a bad cell area. But even when I move to an area where I have five bars, it makes no difference. Save yourself some time, frustration and money and choose a different app.
