  • App unable to upload scans

App keeps failing to upload the scans (pdfs) to onedrive. Also, every other time asks to login to Microsoft/ Onedrive. Already had flags from Microsoft signaling multiple login tries. The previous versions were flawless, this one is real BAD! FIX IT!

Solid app. It be way better if it didn’t ask for more photo access every time I opened it. It takes photo for me. It doesn’t need access to my old ones!!!

I’m a tech guy, performed many different troubleshootings including installing/uninstalling, permissions, resets, everything. Issue can’t be solved. Been using this app for years, maybe is time to adopt a new scanner app.
  • Latest update April 2025 fails to upload to OneDrive.

I’ve been using Office Lens for years, most updates just work. I updated to the April 2025 update for the app and OneDrive and now it no longer syncs and a failed to upload messages occurred. I’ve tried logging off and on multiple times, I still have 90% of my 1TB storage free but it fails to work.IOS is at the current version. It would be nice to move to local storage once it fails so it does not need to be redone.

For a few mths the app worked beautifully. Then out of nowhere I was unable to use the back camera for documents. Super annoying.

  • Older version was better

I have a hard time understanding why would someone mess up a perfectly working application. Older versions of Lens let you change image resolution and they removed a working function. Why is it a better idea to make the app less controllable. That’s an Apple strategy. I don’t understand why is Microsoft adapting that same strategy?
