  • Out of touch

Developers are money hungry an out of touch with the player base. They don’t listen to the player base an in multiple aspects of the game that are outdated they have failed to update time an time again. Instead choosing to update parts of the game that don’t need to be updated just to fill their pockets. The game costs way to much money to be competitive and takes way to much time.

What happens when you mix great gameplay with monetization? You get a game that falls short of being something special. This stings when you realize that the very thing that is holding the game back is the one system that they can never get rid of. If the money the game generated went back into improving the stale aspects of the game this review would be different. The only thing that’s continuously improved upon is the rate at which promos come out that break the games in various ways.
  • $5000

This is the only game I’ve ever reviewed. I played fairly heavily but less than many, on and off over the years. Got to know many players. The top performers, the winners, I don’t know how much they spend. But the people near the top, I’ve heard a handful say they spent close to $5k. On multiple occasions. This game is really good at the stick and carrot bit. And it seems super satisfying to play if you have money. Just take it for what it is. It’s fun for all, but you’ll never get to the top. Get out while you can.
  • Pay to win and they’ve ruined war now too.

They’re ruining the last fun aspect of the game, War, and punishing their(especially lower level) players by making it more difficult to complete milestones. It’s more pay to win than ever and I won’t be playing much longer after this war update goes live. Never missed a war before but I won’t be doing these. Pass on this game.
  • Game issues

I have been playing this game since day one and now all of my data to play is gone as if I’m just starting the game now. I sent in receipts as well as game name and ID I am not sure what’s going on but the help seems confused about needs. Can someone please tell me, what my options are to retrieve game play once again
  • Needs work

Fun game but needs an upgrade to game mechanics and very expensive to stay competitive which is all they really have not enough pve mods. Characters become out of date fast.
  • Bad update

Used to be a great game, but they released a bunch of overpowered characters that completely ruined the years of work I put in to making my team good. Makes me sad.
  • Predatory game that preys on gambling addicts

    By Dylan Hajzer
This game is among the worst games ever created. Not only is the gameplay absolutely atrocious, but the “new” characters cost well over $1000 to get. Time after time, they turn this once “playable” game into a cash grab, squeezing every single cent they can out of the few gambling addicts that are too addicted to quit. Avoid this game like the plague. I can’t even count the number of friends that have ruined their lives with this pathetic excuse for a game on my two hands.
  • Don’t bother to download this shameless cash grab

This game was so much fun when it first came out. There was an advantage gained by spending but it wasn’t the only way to play. Now it costs $1,000+ for each weekly premium toon and they just expanded war to require 5 full defense teams of toons. Absolutely ridiculous change and nothing that the players ever asked for!!! Way to kill your game with greed, Scopely…
