This is an amazing app that isn’t talked about enough. I’ve used it for years to track my grocery inventory, but only recently realized I could also use it for toiletries, home items, and makeup too. Basically anything with an expiration where you want to make sure you know how much is left at home and when to use it by. Also I love the grocery store “ding” when you scan new items in - a nice little touch. Also I’ve been using Free perfectly fine - no annoying or intrusive ads, just an item limit. I’ve done a trial of the free and it seemed good too. The only things that would make it better: 1. Make an Android version (please). I recently switched to an Android version and am super sad there isn’t a Pantry Check for it. 2. It would be AWESOME if PantryCheck could suggest recipes based on what’s currently in your inventory (similar to SuperCook). Recipe apps like Paprika are awesome, and they have a sort of pantry tracker, but it’s very bare bones. If the two integrated that would be perfect.
  • Better than CozZo BUT

Better than the CozZo app, but unfortunately doesn’t let you list item quantity in weight or physicality which is crucial for produce or meats.

I love this app!! It's helpful for someone who's organized. I have a question how can I add a store when I click on the shopping cart at the bottom, I can see my lists but I want to add the store where I shop at..

One critique I have for the app is when it refreshes, all the catalogues/locations collapse and i have to expand all the ones I want (which is most of them) one by one. An expand/collapse button would be nice.
  • Very handy app!

I use this religiously and always compare my receipts to what pantry check says the amount could be. One thing I wish they could add as a feature is the ability to add online purchases to a list and to check out with them.

Thanks for bringing back custom location on checkout! I found a slower way to do it but this is A+ Last thing that would make this A++ is custom shopping location so I can put a product in purchase at Walmart or Walmart/Albertsons then filter when I’m at that shop.

Love this app honestly, hate buying a subscription but this was so handy I went and documented everything and needed more space. Have the memory of a goldfish and this has helped me stop buying what I already have somewhere. Love that you can sort a location (fridge/freezer/pantry) and that it keeps you aware of what’s about to expire. 10/10

I never review apps. I wanted something like this to help keep track of what we need when we’re out of the house, and lo and behold it exists. We live in a small town about 30 minutes away from the nearest grocery store, so an app like this is super useful to know what we have at home if we’re out of town and want to grab something to make a recipe for dinner. I’m a pharmacist so I’m used to the mindset of perpetual inventory of tracking every single small item, and it’s helped a ton in our pharmacy and it helps at home too. Scanner works great, and the community is big and active enough apparently that almost every item is altering the database when scanning continuously after we buy groceries. Even if not, incredibly easy and prompted to add a new product with an updated picture. Auto populates estimated expiration dates, automatically generates lists of what’s about to expire, automatically sorts. Very very very useful. Exactly what I wanted. My only complaint is that the Export Inventory button is pretty much one dimensional — needs more options to only export certain sections or in other formats. Pretty tough to just get a text list out. Other than that, a big fan of this app. Very affordable, will continue paying for the upgraded membership to track my whole kitchen.
