    I’ve disabled notifications for News stories within the app. But the app still sends me notifications for new stories. I’ve even tried disabling ALL notification types. But I still get news notifications.

    Most items should be called “olds” as they are dated articles rather than current events. The app is poorly written. Pictures and videos cannot even be viewed in landscape mode so one can see the content.

    The app is not abiding by my phone’s notification policies which to me is very concerning. If the app is still giving me weather even with location not allowed and no notifications at all- what else is it doing that I do not permit. Any app that operates like that should not be allowed on IOS.

    App doesn’t obey your notifications settings. doesn’t matter which news notifications you turn off. Will still alert you including weather even if you have it off. I turned off all notifications in the app itself to test. Few hours later still getting them. No local news either. App has too much ads. Moving on.

    This news aggregator is losing its appeal. Lots of ads, low quality content, and notifications that have been disabled but still showing up are becoming a problem. For example, I only have breaking news notifications enabled, yet every day I get a weather alert-this not breaking news. Had local news enabled and never had any content in that category. Keep getting some weird content from blogs instead of the news. If you like something, it will show you the exact same news from other sources-I already read it, this is not how it is supposed to work. Overall, do not recommend
