Having to pay to see a picture of someone is a scam. Deleted app on that alone.

Be careful. They’ll unfairly remove you. They don’t allow for actual appeals when an account is reported. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Filtering by industry should be free. I’m a graphic designer and marketing professional looking for a new role and all I see are singers, models, photographers and people who barely have a high school education. This is useless. Bumble should be pitching this product to recruiters and have a space for links to resumes and portfolios. There should be 3 different categories of recruiters/hiring managers vs talent looking for work and people just looking to network or collaborate. Also should have a lady active date. Someone’s profile just said that they were COVID cautious. We’re on the year 2025. She clearly hasn’t been on in quite some time. This app could be linked to LinkedIn or become LinkedIn’s competitor and yet the execution is completely lazy. You could be facilitating networking events according to industry, arranging job fairs and more but instead you made a useless app for anyone with an actual job who isn’t just a model looking for photographers. Where are the people in HR? Senior directors? People with actual pull at a company?

I’ve never been scared to use bumble as I am with other dating apps. I had a pretty crazy scamming experience on one of them. I enjoy swiping on bumble and the other people using it seem to not be too unhappy about it. It does seem bumble wants to charge an arm and a leg for good quality matches that lead to dates.
  • Don’t do it. Save your sanity and money

Remember, It’s in Bumbles best interest that you don’t meet anyone. Pay to see likes, pay to have your profile shown, pay for more exposure, rinse and repeat. Tons of bots, no responses from matches, no support from bumble, I honestly don’t know how they get away with the blatant money grab. Also keep in mind that although bumble denies it, shadow banning is real. This means you can pay all you want but your profile is not shown to others. It’s basically stealing on bumbles part. The best thing you can do is GET OFF THE DATING APPS. Yes, people can meet on here but it’s not in your odds and Bumble wouldn’t be in business if people were having overwhelming success on the apps. Dating apps have done serious damage to the dating world- get off the apps and go meet people in real life. Talk to that person at the grocery store or gym. Join a meetup and explore your community. You have a better chance of meeting someone meaningful that way instead of kicking tires and wasting money on here.

Had to pay for absolutely everything through this app, even to see if someone likes you.
  • Most woke app I’ve ever seen

If I was giving stars for being woke, this would be a five star app. It’s hilarious that you expect me to give you money in order to see who has liked me. I don’t give money to woke companies. If Jaguar and Bud Light made a dating app, this would be it. Pro tip: no, men and women are not equal. Women excel at many things and are better than men at them. Men excel at certain things and are better than women at them. That’s why we compliment each other and make a great “team” when we work together. Geniuses.
