  • No doorbell notifications

I’m not sure what bugs they fixed with this update, but it would be nice to have doorbell notifications back. Also, unanswered notifications for other cameras show as “answered motion”. Seems to detect the wind blowing through bushes frequently. Just not sure why they made it so the doorbell barely picks up any motion. I see multiple people walking by, tons of cars driving by from my window. But apparently the doorbell doesn’t pick it up anymore. Do we need to upgrade the doorbell? Or does ring need to fix this issue? And yes, I’ve done every troubleshooting tip and rebooted, and uninstalled the app and reinstalled. All notifications settings in app and phone are on. Pretty much defeats the whole purpose of having it as security.
  • App is Useful

The app has been useful, but the requirements for downloading and using it are concerning. Granting access to many of my phone's features feels like a form of legal theft or mass surveillance. While I can choose not to use it, I will look into other camera options that don’t require me to give up my rights.

I love my ring doorbell. I feel more secure since my husband passed away. The only problem I have with it. It seems to have a delay between someone actually coming to the door and it going off. Other than that, it’s a great asset.
  • Why Is There No Apple TV App?

    2

Heaven forbid should you be able to watch your security feed on Apple TV. That would just be asking too much. While deleting videos I have to wait for that ridiculous white bar that says “deleting video” to go away before it gets out of the way so I can delete the next one. Is there some reason the delete button has to be at the very bottom in the row of options? Couldn’t you have the white bar block something less relevant like the share button? Either that or make a way to delete all videos at once? Also, why is there no access on the home page to the battery percentage remaining? It should be put right next to history but I do not have the option to do that. Also, nearly everything in the app that is clickable takes you to the internet browser. Is there some reason you people can’t be bothered to make any of these settings accessible from the app? And it is LUDICROUS that you cannot save a video you record with your own security camera to your own camera roll. This service is ridiculously terrible. Oh and by the way - you ruined the widgets 2 updates ago. They look utterly putrid now

Hello, I used to have access to my downstairs ring camera and now all of the sudden I don’t anymore. Why is this?
  • Login Woes

So, directly after I wrote a completely different review, I got the app working. The login was a pain in the booty, but once I got logged in, everything seems to be working fine. Enough that I think if my pets go missing, they might have a chance of being returned to me.

App was great until last update. I haven’t received motion alerts on my iPhone for the past few days. Please fix.
  • App does not function properly

I have been dealing with such slow delay in connecting to the app when I get a notification someone is at my door. It spins for forever and then I get an error it can not connect. There is no use having the ring system/app if this happens. Figuring I need to delete and download the app again now it will not allow me to sign in…says no application. When I attempt to sign in this app support, it says error. This is frustrating! Please let me know how to get this fixed.
  • Cameras are great but the neighbor alerts are all sales related and dumb neighbor questions now

Neighbor alerts are now a joke. Nothing to do with ring cameras or concerns. Sales pitches and garage sales!! Nice job Ring
