    If eco mode is active one can not change temperature from app. Even if app disables eco mode and the main unit reports eco mode is disabled. The latter proves not a connection issue. A blatant persistent set of bugs

    Latest update seems to have accidentally removed access to Local Network which completely disables Wi-Fi presence feature.

    There is a new bug in the iPhone app which limits the temperature that can be set for heating or cooling when creating a vacation schedule. Normally my house is set to 68 degrees F. Ecobee works great. When creating a vacation schedule, I want my house to be colder than normal during the winter, like 60 degrees. Ecobee only allows for a MINIMUM temperature of 74 degrees when setting a vacation schedule in the iPhone app. The user cannot set a lower temperature in the app. The workaround is to create a vacation schedule using the Ecobee web app. It works as expected. Please fix the iPhone app’s vacation schedule.

    Don’t know why this poorly written app got so many stars. (1) When I tried to link this app to an ecobee essential, there was no code shown on the thermostat. Following the app prompt to get to “main menu —> link to mobile app” on ecobee, there is no such thing as “link to mobile app”.

  • Never gives the correct readings.

    The temperature is always off from what the thermostat actually says. Otherwise app is okay.

    I love this app it is so so convenient when traveling. I can wake up in the morning with the temperature 63°. And before I get home it’s now 30° so being able to switch them from one to the other is perfect.
