You can add notes, tag it, schedule it, and break it down into smaller steps. • Your Projects Create a Project for any big goal, then add the to-dos to reach it. Use headings to structure your list as you outline your plan. • MOVE THE BLUE PLUS BUTTON

The placement and sensitivity of the blue plus button in the bottom right corner is an endless source of frustration. I’ve brought this up to you for years but you seem not to care. The rest of the app works so well, that simply moving this button would make it nearly perfect. The problem is if you swipe up anywhere near it, you inadvertently add a new item, and to make matters worse, there’s no delete option in its initial pop-up. You’re forced to accept it and then re-open it to delete it. And the suggestion from a staff member before to scroll higher up in the app doesn’t work when you swipe up to exit the app and as you exit it adds a blank to do item that I have to delete later.
  • Best Tool Ever for a Real Estate Broker

As a real estate broker juggling showings, client follow-ups, contracts, and marketing tasks, Things 3 has been a total game-changer for me. Its clean interface, powerful tagging system, and flexible scheduling help me stay on top of everything—without the overwhelm. Here’s why I love it: • Effortless Organization: I can organize tasks by project (e.g. listings, escrows, open houses) and even by client. It helps me stay laser-focused. • Deadlines & Reminders: Never miss an inspection date or a follow-up call again. I rely on the “Today” and “Upcoming” views daily. • Sync Across Devices: I can update tasks from my phone between showings or from my Mac at the office. • Notes & Checklists: I use it to track offer terms, document requests, and staging to-do lists. It’s like having a digital transaction coordinator in my pocket. If you’re a real estate agent or broker looking for a smart, simple, and effective task manager—Things 3 is hands down the best investment you can make.
  • Only one real grievance.

Cultured code delivers in performance and beauty with Things 3 but, one real issue I have is when setting a date or when I’m going to do a certain task the calendar pops up I choose the date then it goes away, I have to select again to then sent the time of my reminder. I thought this was a bug it’s not, it’s how they designed it. Makes no sense. Let me choose a date and reminder time then give me the option to press done when I’m actually done. Maybe make this process optional in settings??
  • All my needs…

Things three really fulfills all my needs. I need more flexibility than Apple Reminders. Things 3 works for all my devices and all my needs. One of the best features is that you don’t need a huge amount of documentation because the app is very intuitive.
  • Best todo app (I’ve tried them all)

This app is extremely well designed and implemented. Bonus, it works well with the GTD system. Accessibility ask: One thing I would like is the ability to move the + button (to add tasks) from the right side to the left. The button is so small, and it’s difficult to use with the left hand.

Have been using this app daily for about a year, it’s a lifesaver for business owners, and even people who want a to do list, that’s simple, clean, and effective. Highly recommend 💎🤝
  • The best

I’ve been a long-time user of Things and really appreciate the clarity and design of the app. It’s a great middle ground between a simple reminders app and a gtd system. One small but meaningful improvement I’d love to see is the ability for recurring tasks to automatically reappear in the “This Evening” section of Today, rather than defaulting to the general Today list. Currently, I have to manually move recurring tasks into “This Evening” every time they regenerate, which adds friction to an otherwise smooth workflow. It would be incredibly helpful if the app remembered a task’s last placement or allowed me to designate “This Evening” as its default. Thanks for all your thoughtful work on Things—I’d be excited to see this added in a future update.

Let’s just say I’ve scoured the web and the App Store and tried all kinds of apps and websites and a lot of them I loved but being on a budget I could use only use the free trial up to a certain point and would have to start over. No more! I can input them on app and and can sync it with my Apple Watch. It’s helped me be more organized and allowed me to get more things done knowing it’s in the things3 app. The interface is nice too which is super simple and easy to use. When I have enough, would love the desktop version too!
