Pretty solid overall, but the premium features aren’t worth the price for beginner golfers. The GPS auto-tracker isn’t super accurate unless you’re playing for par each hole—if you’re a beginner or have a few rough holes, it doesn’t track shots correctly consistently. Therefore, you waste a lot of time manually fixing shots but as we know, there’s not much time to do that if the course is playing fast. The Apple Watch distance readings also tend to differ from what the iPhone shows, which makes it tough to trust. Good concept, but not worth paying for premium at the beginner stage. I’ll revisit the premium version when I’m a really good golfer.

Enjoying this app after only a few rounds played. Can easily track score of myself and friends I’m playing with. And also give a pretty accurate distance to the flag so I don’t have to rely on using my brother’s range finder. It also shows what courses are around me. Only thing it’s missing is shaving a couple strokes off my game

I find it very frustrating that on the handicap screen you can’t actually click to see your score differential on each round listed - you have to guess based on the graph which isn’t easy. Unless I’m missing something. Love the app otherwise if they would fix this

Most of the holes at my local course have the wrong pictures loaded in. If my screen saver comes up or if it locks , it fast forward to the 18th hole. Part way through it gave me random scores on holes I haven’t been to, and this is my first time using the app. Totally disappointed!!!!! I want my money back

The free version annoyingly keeps changing the image to try to sell an expensive version. It is also difficult to turn off, there is no obvious way. Accordingly the app keeps appearing on your watch face long after the round is over. Not very appealing!

This app is very intuitive and even the free version has so many features! We found the gps to be very accurate compared to the reading on the range finder! We were also very pleasantly surprised to find it had the golf course we were playing “out in the country” of Wisconsin the first time we tried to use the app! Our golf group tried several free gps golf apps on different phones and we all liked 18 Birdies the best- hands down!

The auto shot tracking with Apple Watch is a game changer. It finds so much more shots automatically and ones that miss the mark you can easily adjust post round. Now I can get shots gained statistics by barely lifting a finger.
