    This is Real Feedback Bad and Good - in summary this app has many bugs that need to be fixed. Here’s one recent example, when I send a message to someone (it pops up an error that the msg did not send, however upon reloading the app - I see my message did send and thus I inadvertently double posted the same message per this bug. Another bug, clear headshot photo’s get rejected by the system in alot of instances- sometimes they go through but it is rather frustrating. Context: This review is written by me, who Dil Mil ranks in the top 10% of all users - from my use of this app from 2020 to present day) 1. You must pay excess amounts of moneu for the best “ELITE” version of this app, which is ok - but even those features have a cap which then you must pay more- on top of the existing premium one already paid. I do not find that fair or helpful as a user and this feedback is at the top for that reason. 2. Most useful features require payment, some such as the ability to filter for verified users (as a Verified user myself) are not free however that should be free. Not everything should be free but the basic filters listed should all be free- then the premium model makes sense to purchase. 3. I say this as one Dil Mil ranks in the top 10% of all users. 4. This app has so many bugs as mentioned that it needs heavy lifting work from it’s Dev team and incorporation of real user feedback. 4a. I have, on numerous occasions, sent direct feedback to Dil Mil’s team about how to improve and post them here. 5. Dil Mil, needs to make money which is fine- it’s a business but thr pricing is excessive for the features I got paying many hundreds of dollars on the premium service. 5a. To be very fair, I had better results using this app without the premium plan. Now for the good: 6. There is Good here but I save the best for last - Aside from the odd balls or bots one may interface with on Dil Mil, there are some Truly amazing people on this app whom I’ve matched with, chatted with, gone out on real dates with and the foundation was solid but currently the app is bug ridden to the point of being unable to use. Please fix.

    I can’t upload my photo in the initial set up, I restarted the app but it still doesn’t work. It gets stuck on the “choose a photo” screen…

    1. Profile edits don’t get saved 2. App crashes when saving the voice recording 3. Activity and history vanishes and pops back. 4. No way to edit messages 5. The position of super like is wrong and you accidentally keep hitting it. Probably intentionally put there. 6. The purple loading screen is unnecessarily long 7. Very hard to get rid of concierge popup. 8. Limited choices for statuses and kids etc. Other than these UX issues, app is good.

    I’ve encountered several issues while using this app, and I believe the communication system is not very effective. 1.Unread Requests: It seems that many users do not read connection requests. The request notification is not easily visible—perhaps making it blink or using a red color could help improve visibility. 2.Inadequate Filters: The filter options are quite limited. The app appears more tailored for individuals who are divorced or have children. However, there are no filters to specifically search for unmarried individuals without children. This is a key preference for many users, especially within South Asian culture. As a result, users are forced to scroll through hundreds of profiles just to find a few suitable matches. This process feels inefficient and frustrating. It almost seems as though the design encourages users to spend more time on the app unnecessarily. Even with an Elite membership, the experience has not improved significantly. I hope the developers will consider these concerns and improve the app's features to better support users looking for serious and compatible matches

  • USERS BEWARE. This app is full of bots/fake profiles/scammers

    This app is a dumpster fire. Most users don’t message you, or don’t respond your message after matching. You only ever get matches that are far away in order to keep you from getting off the app too quickly. It seems the majority of men’s profiles are bots or fake profiles pre populated with the same generic basic info, and sometimes even a copy/pasted About Me. There are duplicate profiles of the same people, whether fake or real. The majority of the men on them who likely are real lie about their age, their location, their intentions, and intentionally avoid answering whether or not they are already married and/or have kids. Maybe they are using it as a hookup site, but the app itself is not advertised as such. At best, the app is poorly made and not at all secure with your private data, and at worst, they are intentionally using your photos, profile information, and chat conversations to collect your data and use it for whatever corrupt reasons they intend to.

    It’s been quite a while I have been using this app and it lags every time I swipe left, it will literally crash sometimes after multiple swipes. I’m just frustrated because it crashes as soon I see a pretty girl and want to swipe right.

    The app’s photo moderation process appears to be unusually strict — every photo I attempted to upload was rejected, which made the experience quite frustrating. Additionally, the photo upload interface feels unintuitive and cumbersome. It would greatly improve usability to leverage the native iOS photo picker rather than implementing a custom solution that lacks familiarity and ease of use. The filters also seem to be unreliable or non-functional. I’d recommend a thorough quality assurance review to ensure basic functionality works smoothly. Overall, the user experience around adding photos needs significant refinement.
