  • Too many ad

I would rather pay once to download the ad free option but I guess the makers want to alienate people by bombarding them with ads. Too bad, it’s a fun game. I’m deleting the app.

It went from never any ads at all to an ad before and after every single game. Not just any ads- those annoying Kingdom ones. You need to be more selective about your ads because nobody wants to watch an ad that is 3-4 minutes, THEN have to watch the wrap up of the ad for another couple minutes, before being able to get out of it. Great game, used to play it on the Xbox, but from zero ads to suddenly hours of ads is crazy.

It’s amazing. i’ve always loved peggle since i was a kid. it’s always held a place in my heart since my childhood. Although, like most other reviews, it talks about the micro transactions. Yes, there’s levels that are really hard to complete and you are almost guaranteed to be required to use power ups at the higher levels, and it’s frustrating how you have lived and such, but i mean how else are they gonna make money for the game? Especially a free mobile game. Although, i do feel like the micro transactions are quite a bit excessive which is keeping me from giving it 5 stars but what else do you expect from EA. (Wish EA wouldn’t have bought popcap but that’s besides the point). Anyways, great game, just more ads and micro transactions than there needs to be. And for that reason i’m giving it 4 stars.
  • Unreasonably Hard

The levels are impossible to earn pass/earn 3 stars without using items. It is ridiculous. I’m starting to understand why the ratings are low. 😑
  • A game of the cultured

This game doesn’t live up to the standards of a five year old. The level design is unbelievably inconsistent, some are very easy while others feel almost impossible. The scaling doesn’t get harder as you progress but randomly changes through out the game. The devs are money hungry wanting you to pay for any sort of fun with power ups or playing more than a few levels. However the game is still the holy game of peggle which is its only redeeming quality.

Love the game, but will not play anymore. The ads are waaaaaaay too excessive and long. Ridiculous.

I never write reviews but this has been my dad and i’s favorite game growing up. i wouldn’t pick any other game the advertisements are optional and they have plenty of levels to play. i recommend downloading this game and giving it a try i wish they would make a second one! i’m very picky with my games as most don’t keep me entertained but this one does!!

  • Manipulative Design

This game takes the core premise and soul of the previous Peggle installations, and monetizes it to death at your expense. Levels beyond a certain point are so unfair you virtually HAVE to purchase power ups or lives to progress further. Don’t bother downloading unless you can cough up the cash, or have the time to retry one level 100 times.

Worse than every other version of Peggle, but it’s still Peggle I guess. Play this if you like levels that are designed to sap microtransactions from you, otherwise stay away from it.
