It’s pretty fun for a little bit but they make it just challenging enough to make you lose in frustrating ways after a certain point to entice you to buy power ups. Personally, I’d rather just buy the game once and have full access to all features. I am never going to make multiple transactions within a silly game that is purposely made to frustrate me and be unbalanced. So, I uninstalled. Thanks for the few days of fun.

the game is bearable until you get to the ads. there is more ad time than game time. it also followed the classic freemium model. What a great way to ruin a decent Ish concept.
  • Way too many ads

All the ads disrupt the enjoyment of playing the game. They take way too long.

Game is designed to be extremely hard and make you want to spend money. The original Peggle creators would hate this

The game doesn’t scale whatsoever one level could be impossible to lose and the next level could take you a year to get all the orange pegs but you only got 50,000 points when you needed 100,000 and the fact that if you have a skill issue you need to stop playing for a while or pay money just makes it 10 times worse but it’s still really fun on the levels they did well
  • No fun

Started out fun and then too many ads. Also I like a challenge but if you can’t pass a level after 30+ attempts without purchasing something, it’s no longer fun. Deleted.

  • Awful Homage to The Original

3/10 game The good: - Fun for the first few levels - Overhaul of levels giving the game a lot of content The bad: - Ads after every level (win or lose) - terrible level balance and design - uninteresting new power ups - looks cheap - noticeable bugs and poorly written code (ball clipping through objects, not firing when tapped, etc) - inconsistent mechanics (black sludge, power ups not activating after hitting green peg) - very repetitive Final review: If you are a diehard fan of the original game you may enjoy this simply because it's new peggle content. However, as a peggle fan myself, this game is a severe disappointment compared with the original charming game. It is sad to see a cash grab of a beloved franchise without honoring the original in any way.

But then they filled it with ads. I’ve beat the game like 2x but now I spend most of the game watching ads. WTH!? Plus i can’t listen to my music on my phone when playing it, even when i muted all noises on the game. Get it together, EA.

I would rather pay once to download the ad free option but I guess the makers want to alienate people by bombarding them with ads. Too bad, it’s a fun game. I’m deleting the app.
