    since reddit tried their best to kill 3rd party apps, narwhal is pretty much the only one left. it’s seen a lot of revision and is pretty stellar now. well worth the expense.

    The absolute garbage of iOS’ Reddit app finally has a solution! Better photo handling, better conversation management, better everything. It’s too bad Reddit charges Narwhal for API calls or this would be free.

    Narwhal is a fantastic app for accessing Reddit. The interface is clean, fast, and intuitive and it avoids annoying ads. It's well worth the subscription price, and the fact that there's a subscription at all is Reddit's fault not this dev.

    I have been subscribing Narwhal for a few months now and I love the app. It allows you to customize your setting and you will be able to avoid needless sub suggestions or ad. I think $4 is worth the experience and I highly recommend it.

    Since Reddit started charging for using their API so many apps, even paid apps, rolled over. I’m grateful to have an app with a receptive and helpful developer that allows me to access what I want how I want. IMO better functionality too!

    While the does cost money, that’s due to Reddit charging developers (and by proxy users) for api access. The Narwhal developer does a fantastic job keeping the app up to date + implements new features regularly. It’s the only way I interact with Reddit now (across both iOS and iPad)
