    Despite the second picture saying no api charges if you happen to scroll all the way to the bottom of the description this app isn’t free. And is not worth $3.99/mo for no ads a little bit of customization.

    I like narwhal 2. The customization is great. Works great. Subscription price is pretty on point considering. Thankful to have a 3rd party Reddit alternative still

    I quit reddit in June of 2022 due to the greedy pig faced /u/spez. Thanks to Narwhal dev, I have a third party app to use again. I did a lot of research & this is virtually the only ios option that has frequent updates. I am very satisfied with the features & customization. The monthly cost is honestly nothing if you have any understanding of how much /u/spez ruined the platform. 5/5 app Reddit is still a 2/5, but better than any other social media 0/5 CEO, I hate you /u/spez

    i get why they need to charge for the app and support them doing that, but in that case, just make the app cost money rather than making people waste bandwidth downloading the “free” version just for it to pop up with a mandatory subscription

    Hard to justify the $3.99 for an app that looks like it was designed by with no knowledge UI/UX design. Horrible legibility and layout……

    Love the bait and switch paywall. Why not put the price of the app in the AppStore rather than having people download the app then pay walling the app after going through the tutorial.

    To use this app, you have to agree to an alarming number of permissions. Read the fine print before agreeing. I opted out.

    so happy they added auto unmute!! only thing that would make the app better would be being able to scroll through media (scroll up in one media for the next posts media)

    I was willing to pay to stop seeing ads on the Reddit app, but premium Reddit is limited to just one account. Narwhal 2 eliminates all ads and supports multiple Reddit accounts, all under a single subscription. So far I have only good things to say about Narwhal!

    The UX is honestly amateurish and hard to get used to, no matter how much customization you do. All of the features feel very cobbled together with no holistic thought put into a cohesive design.
