    Much better than the reddit app and worth paying the API fee. I didn’t quite like the way it looked but the developer lets you customize the appearance in pretty much every way. I wish the color bar beside each comment changed colors for each comment like Apollo had but that’s minor.

    Apparently you must pay a fee of $3.99 per month in order to use their app at all, even though it said nothing about in app purchases. Very disappointing.

    I seen that it charged me so out of no where so I got on the app and there was a big apology letter stating that there getting charged by Reddit for posting there content and asked me if I wanted to do a 7 day free trial but after the fact they already charged me

    I’ve been using Narwhal for about 9 years now and I can say it’s only gotten better as time has gone on. Everything is more simplified and just makes sense compared to the official Reddit app that can be a bit overwhelming. It’s also worth saying that the developer of Narwhal is extremely open to feedback and regularly interacts with the community. Great app that not only deserves your support but adds an incredible amount of functionality to your Reddit experience, too.

    The title says it all. Narwhal lets you customize your viewing experience tailored exactly to your preferences. It also removes the ads so that your doom scrolling remains uninterrupted. Just do it already.

    I’ve used Narwhal for nearly 10 years now ever since Alien Blue was killed. This is by far the best Reddit app. It’s super customizable and has a super good UI. If this app ever dies, I’ll stop using Reddit because, for me, this app is Reddit.

    If you’re into Reddit consumption in a text first format and don’t like the way that the normal Reddit app presents information and all the social media features, then Narwhal is for you. It’s a small charge per month to support a guy who has kept the vision of the app consistently great for many many years now.
