This app seems to be very accurate when it comes to snowfall and temperatures I have followed this as well as other apps, and in general, this one is right on.

…or any winter, for that matter. As someone who works in Little Cottonwood, I’m at the mountain a lot as it is, so I’ve gotten fairly complacent about checking the weather over the years. I figure whether or not it’s gonna snow, I’m still gonna be up there so really, what’s the difference? WELL, let me tell you: the difference with this app in your back pocket is astounding. OpenSnow is so detail-oriented, there’s something in it for everyone. It’s not just snow totals and weather info. It’s historical data, well-written and detailed forecasts, water percentages, webcams, resort status/trail maps, and even avalanche forecasts for the more backcountry-minded. I personally just look forward to reading Evan Thayer’s Utah forecasts every morning — who would’ve thought weather could be so interesting?! Seriously, this app is incredible and has something in it for everyone. If you call yourself a skier or snowboarder and haven’t downloaded it yet, you’re missing out. Also, I rarely say this, but the All-Access membership is 1000% worth it. Get a few friends or family members together and go for the group rate to save some $$$! tl;dr: 5/5 best snow app, download it, paid version is worth it, happy shredding ❄️
