  • App not working

The app will no longer recognize my device. I’ve used the app for years and have had my Cricut for 4+ years. My hope is the app will be worked on so it is functional again.

I recently decided to use my circuit again and saw that the app needed an update on my iPad. I updated, restarted, and the app still says I need an update. It won’t go past the machine selection screen on any other device, so I’m looking at a pretty expensive paper weight instead of cutter unless this is fixed.

No matter how many times I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, it will not communicate with server or recognize any machine to login. Please fix it!

I recently purchased the newest iPad Pro with largest storage. Every time I try to edit anything at all it refreshes. I have spent an hour trying to print out a list of names. I feel like I am living with dial up again. Horrible!
  • Not worth it !!!

I received the Cricut joy xtra machine as what was expected to be an expensive, high end gift, but when it came time to use I was very disappointed. In general the actual Cricut device cuts and draws decently although it costs extra money to get the griping mat as it is not included and is required to make many of the cut outs. In addition to this matter, the app is the most disappointing feature. The app is very glitchy and slow running and takes a while to actually connect to the Cricut device itself. To continue, the Cricut is not worth your money. The physical device is already expensive and most the apps designs cost money to use. Even though the app is advertised as free, you really can’t do a lot without paying. All in all, I believe that this Cricut device is not worth the hype and wast of money.
  • Worst platform I've ever experienced. Esp for such an expensive product

After you spend an immense amount of time perfecting your mat for multiple colors, it at random decides to shuffle the placement of your vinyl cutouts, but here the thing, there's NO reason for it and it's at random even though it fits the mat perfectly I'd totally get it if turned red on the final page but no, it destroys the whole thing!!!!. A project that takes 30 minutes is easily an hour or two just trying to correct what the application destroys. Also, you need to pay $10 a month after you paid $500 for the machine. Otherwise you get "access" to the worst vinyl cutouts you can imagine with extra cutouts that aren't necessary and make the weeding process even harder than needed to force you to pay. Unfortunately, there's not another app that's compatible and honestly it's so frustrating that I just want to chuck the whole machine across the room sometimes. If I paid for this machine myself I definitely would've taken it back. DO BETTER CRICUT!

The app simply does not connect to the machine. Therefore both are a waste of time and money. Sooo glad I did not buy a new Cricut for Christmas this year, that would have been an even bigger waste of money. I have had the joy for a few years rarely use it, just wanted to print a vinyl name. Guess that’s not happening. What a disappointment.

Always riddled with bugs and issues. Miss the offline software from years ago. This creates frustration and makes me want to avoid crafting
