    I really do enjoy this app, but out of the blue, my account got muted and I now have to complete a real name verification which I am unable to do, because I do not own a passport. I only own a United States, state ID; because of this, I am not able to comment or post. However I did learn, others are having this issue as well and those with passports, are not having success with the verification.

    Posts are being taken down and voices are being silenced whenever ordinary people try to seek fairness. Red note has completely abandoned any trace of humanity or moral responsibility. The most recent incidence that is actively being silenced is Luoxi’s tragical death due to surgical malpractice. It was a heartbreaking tragedy and Luoxi’s mom is seeking justice for her 5 months old daughter’s death. However Red note is shutting down her accounts and deleting anything she posts as well as any other users’ posts regarding this incident. Its actions show a shocking disregard for basic decency, justice, and the voices of ordinary people.

    The app regularly scans and identifies posts/comments that express negative views related to China especially when about their government and critical domestic incidents, and deletes them automatically. Although this is not violation of free speech and a common method among Chinese social media, I still feel disgusting of such action.
