So basically i tried to get on epic and set it up but once i did.. My kid tapped on several books she thought were interesting and guess what! ALL of them were the membership thing! Could you guys make like a section where there are free books? Just a recommendation. Thank you! 🙏

I have my account set to auto-renew monthly. I’m being charged but when I login my account says it needs to be renewed. I don’t want to pay twice. I’ve reached out to support but only received an automatic response that maybe I’ll hear back from them in a week due to high-demand of the start of the school year (it’s November!). Really frustrated as my son wants to read his books but account won’t let us access unless we pay twice, doubly frustrated as epic support won’t respond. Don’t recommend app due to lack of tech support. Edit: I’m actually paying for 2 subscriptions (one yearly. One monthly). I’ve canceled both, been waiting a long time to hear back from customer service but nothing. Will be requesting a refund but doubt I’ll hear back. Too bad as my son enjoyed reading on epic before they shut us out. I’m not paying for a third subscription!!

First of all, You have to pay a subscription to get ALL of the books.2,If you don’t want to pay, your child can use their school account, but its open till 3PM.3,It’s for Kids,so any teen/adults can’t use it. As you can see, Epic has some problems.

This was not really great because you had to pay and if you didn’t you could only see a preview of the book so I was not happy

Hi. I don’t like epic a lot. There’s not much book options, and every single time i exit out. I have to sign back in, and it takes like 30 minutes. Pls fix that epic.

So the app itself is great. My son loves it. The only problem I got with it is that on parents dashboard should show me my sons activity/read books and it does not. I’ve been trying to reach epic developers for past few weeks and still didn’t get an answer which is very frustrating since I purchased the subscription for the whole year. Very disappointing
