Description

Microsoft Intune helps organizations manage access to corporate apps, data, and resources. Company Portal is the app that lets you, as an employee of your company, securely access those resources. Before you can use this app, make sure your IT admin has set up your work account. Your company must also have a subscription to Microsoft Intune. Company Portal helps simplify the tasks you need to do for work: • Enroll your device to access corporate resources, including Office, email, and OneDrive for Business • Quickly reset the password to your work account if you should forget it • Find apps that will help you with your daily tasks as provided by your company • View and manage all your enrolled devices – and wipe them yourself if they get lost or stolen • Get help from your IT department with easy-to-find contact information A note about Intune: every organization has different access requirements, and will use Intune in ways that they determine will best manage their information. Some functionality might be unavailable in certain countries. If you have questions about how this app is being used within your organization, your company’s IT administrator should have those answers for you. Microsoft, your network provider, and your device’s manufacturer do not know how Intune will be used by your organization.

I had the app installed and then an “update” happened 3 weeks ago and now I can’t use any of my work apps!!! Very frustrating

Ignore the whole “can” vs. “can’t” information. This app installs root certificates on your device. This give a company “administrator” complete control of your device if they want to take it over. They can view anything on your device, remove apps, delete photos and content, even reset the device and wipe it. Additionally, installing the app you make your device vulnerable to outside attacks because it is a Microsoft product.
  • Not easy and totally different from before

Very confusing and did not work in an obvious way. The original new phone setup is modified by the company flow and getting the common apps on a new phone is a nightmare

One big the app has is it displays pending download when on the back end it fails. User feels like it spins and spins but it should say failed and give a retry option. Web version never does this and tends to work 100 percent of the time

I keep getting an error message when I am using Excel and I have tried everything deleting all the apps deleting this portal and nothing and the worst thing about it is my organization probably doesn’t even know I’m having problems, although I have reported it, but it goes through Microsoft.

Noticeable decreases in iPhone speed, performance and battery life.
  • Profile management is cludgy

Already had a profile multiple times. Having to reload is time consuming. Aldi waiting an hour before moving forward is too long when I need to update apps in the process and can’t access until this profile is set up again.
