I use this app daily. Since the latest update, the Remote Desktop is broken. Please revert changes or fix the issue.

I tried to use a most simple local LAN RDP connection to access PC on my iPad, and the connection keeps failing. I also can’t find any guidance to troubleshoot this bug. Disappointing.

The previous Remote Desktop app was not perfect but compared to the “Windows App” it might as well have been. This new app has it all. Bizarre UI bugs, inexplicable feature limitations, indecipherable UX. If I was writing a master class on how to screw up an application this would be at the top of my list.

After using the android version for years switched to iOS. This app completely let my down for a basic rdp. The network I’m using does not have internet, this is apparently a big problem for this app stopping it from connecting just saying no connection. Was never an issue to connect in android to the pc without internet

This app suddenly requires iOS 17 eliminating all older devices! Is Microsoft working with Apple to push people to buy new hardware
  • Can’t log in

I use Microsoft Entra authentication through my 365 account. It works great because my laptop uses the same identity as my desktop. I use pc Remote Desktop to get to into my desktop all the time because it’s much more powerful and I use it as a build machine for my company. I do not want to rely on administrator accounts. All I need is my fingerprint. I was expecting the same authentication magic with this app. No such luck. I can’t use it until Microsoft Entra authentication is available through this app to log onto remotes.

Anyone else struggling to log in? Won’t work on my MacBook or iPad.
  • Wayland support?

Worked great when the Linux server I was connecting used X11. Since updating to Wayland I’ve been having issues. Will try and look elsewhere to see if that is the issue.

I thought it was a good solution at first. Later I had issues with mouse clicks in some apps. Mouse clicks wouldn’t register with one important app I use so I’m hoping to find a better solution. Try it. It might work well for you.
