    I bought the $13.99 monthly subscription and now they want me to pay $19.99 per month in order for my clients to sign the estimate. I’d recommend a different app that doesn’t try to scam you out of money.

    I have been a customer of this app for 3 years. Last year I paid $70 this year they want $200. That is a 300% markup, I will find a different way to make invoices. I hope this outrageous price change negatively affects your business. I highly recommend people finding a different route and not use this app.

    Beware, I paid for a year premium service, I’m logged in, but forgot my password, I’ve been in contact 4 months trying to reset it, this company has no phone or live support, still hasn’t resolved my issue, and there are many things in there that invoice simple ain’t due, not to mention the charges from pay pal are excessive, one can do better elswere.

    I absolutely love this app. It allows me to track my invoices and lets me know when they are opened also lets me know the sent history of the invoice. I wish it made proposals !

    They keep raising the price, which if you’re going to work on making the app better, I don’t mind a small raise in price. I used to love this app once had it almost two years. However, recently many clients tell me they cannot open the link to the invoice and I have to resend it which is a pain in the butt. Unfortunate because I did like this app. I will be using something else with less issues

    I used this app for a few months, and it does exactly what it says it will do. But as my business became more frequent, I started to realize that there’s more to just generating estimates and invoices. It all needs to tie into the bigger picture of managing money from customers to taxes, and that’s where this app greatly lacks. Another thing that I didn’t like is that the exorbitant charge for online payments is akin to highway robbery. I switched to QB and for just a little more per year than what Invoice Simple’s premium tier costs, I get everything that this app greatly lacks.

    Been using this app for some time and lack of options is a deal breaker. I have to send multiple estimates when there should be an options selection when sending an estimate. Also I been charged 2 different amounts per month. Reason I cancelled.

    We’ve had this app for almost 5 years. They were great until this past year. They’ve been starting to make updates that are causing bugs and glitches that can cost a business a lot of money. They recently integrated Stripe into their payment system and they have a feature that lets you pass the processing fees on to the customer. The settings are straightforward and you can switch that feature on or off. We always keep it on because we generally push customers to use other forms of payment that don’t includes fees, but if there’s no other way, they can pay through this app. Recently we had a customer make a payment over $1,000 and there was a hiccup between Invoice and Stripe. They deducted the percentage from our earnings after the customer had already taken his vehicle and left. So we message their support teams and they quickly jump to find a way to pin this on us. Saying we switched the setting off (which you’d have to go out of your way to do) and then saying we don’t know what invoice we’re even talking about. Eventually the agent by the name of Nigel ghosted me for several days and even after I followed up for an update, he left my messages on seen back to back. These guys would rather lose a loyal customer that has never batted an eye when they do their yearly price increases, than reimburse a $40 fee they never should’ve taken in the first place. Now if that’s what they do with a $1,000 transaction… we have transactions of up to $20,000 and sometimes it’s not even profit, but just a customer sending us money for us to place a parts order for them. Imagine being forced to pay $800 out of your pocket for a customer’s parts because your own payment processor screwed you. We will be switching over to Square and leaving this review up if they don’t correct their mistake.

    I really like the ease of use and the professional estimates and invoices created. however once I was logged out, I was unable to log back in and customer service was unable to help me. I need to get back to business and was unable to do so lots of time and money was lost.
