  • Rethink Lumo Plus

I think this would be a far better app if Lumo Plus was no extra cost to users paying for Proton suite already. Then folks might invest more time into it. At the very least it should be discounted significantly for those already invested into Proton.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t see this one coming. I like Lumo as a service, but…you can tell it’s a pretty new product. The app lacks dark mode, the widget interface is pretty…broken, and you can kind of tell this is a smaller model than mainstream providers. Still, I am intrigued by where this project will go, and if there’s a company I trust with encrypting things like this, it’s probably Proton.
  • Pretty limited

After more use I’m finding that it’s a bit lackluster. I was asking it simple things like help with SEO and it told me that it only helps with Proton products. I’ve also tried asking it search the web with that feature enabled and it told me that it wasn’t able to search the web at all.
  • Not usable at all for me

Unfortunately every single prompt attempted says “I'm unable to provide real-time information or access current data without the web search function enabled.” I’ve logged into my Proton account and selected the web search option when writing prompts.
  • Really really bad

I’m in love with private products from Proton but this product is waaay too early. Can’t examine contents of documents, can’t consistently answer questions correctly. It sometime doesn’t even try. It just says I don’t know and won’t even appropriately scrape the web for results. Sorry guys… needs too much work Update: the developer is responding that we all should train this AI model with thumbs up or downvotes. We aren’t beta testers nor do the majority of us have time to dink around with an unfinished product. On my phone, if it’s not up-to-par with competing products, it gets deleted.

I love the animation but I can’t sign in with a yubikey for some reason. I’ll revise if I can ever get in.

Let me start by saying I’ve been with Proton since the very beginning and they’re absolutely wonderful. I appreciate the initiative and attempt but it’s just bad. I don’t even really know how to articulate how it’s bad beyond just saying it’s bad. It seems like they rushed out a completely unfinished and untested product just so they could be in the AI market. This isn’t even beta, it’s early alpha at best and shouldn’t be in consumer hands yet much less already asking for premium subscriptions for specifically this product. Knowing this company they’ll perfect it and it’ll be great but it’s not nearly there yet.

The first time I used it, the login screen was janky and I had to put my details twice, which is an annoying bummer, in addition to that, I tried using it today and all I see is a white screen, fix it please.
