The will not allow me to purchase a subscription which is needed to use the app. The button doesn’t work, I’ve tried everything even deleting and redownloading the app. This is extremely frustrating

Saw on an instagram reel and was excited to try out, but a subscription was required. Even if I wanted to pay $40 a month, it wouldn’t let me select them, but kept throwing the subscription screen back in my face. All I had to do was look at the most recent reviews to find I was not alone. Don’t know how this app is rated so highly. The Bible should always be free!

You can’t use this app unless you pay for it!

You can’t do anything without paying for it. You have to at least do the free trial just to use the app and if you don’t, then you can’t do anything like if you even tried to type in a little how do I feel today and submitted it. It literally popped up with the subscription button like why should I have to pay just to listen to you saying the Bible like yeah, I can do it myself, but this is supposed to be a nice thing yet. They’re making you pay for it.

I originally downloaded this app after seeing it promoted on TikTok. I have been trying to read the bible this year but often lost interest or just stopped reading. This was going to be my way to listen as if it was a podcast- great idea. However, the stories jump around. For example, you may want to read it in order, but the auto play may not always play the next story, it may jump to a new section entirely. Because I wanted to listen to this like a podcast (often while driving or doing other tasks, it hasn’t been ideal to try and navigate back to where the next story should be queued). The voices are inconsistent which isn’t too bad. And not the entire Old Testament is on there, assuming it will be released soon? Overall, LOVE the idea but I think there needs to be more UX improvements.

Requires a subscription. It won’t even let you test out without signing up.

Ok so I got it and I thought it sounds really good and I can’t wait to use it and it’s free to download. The only thing is once you download it and get on the app you have to pay for it the weekly cost is $6.99 and the monthly is $39.99 every 3months and you can try for free but that only lasts 3 days. It’s a great idea but the Bible shouldn’t have a subscription. Have a good day
