Swing Coach - Golf

I can’t talk to more experienced golfers, but if you’ve never taken a lesson this app is so helpful. I had been bringing my hands way too far inside on my takeaway. Two sessions with this had me doing it right, and my striking was more consistent. I feel much more confident I’m practicing right. A few requests for the devs that would help me out - I go back and watch my swing replay almost every time and also watch the pros periodically to see any differences. 1) I’d love a button straight from the screen that shows your feedback numbers to the replay instead of having to close that screen and click the little film button in the bottom right. 2) On the replay, I’d like some way to put my swing side by side with a pro of my choice so I can see where their body is compared to mine. It would be helpful because though the app can tell me something’s out of place, I don’t necessarily know why. Seeing where the body should be gives me that feedback. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

I’ve tried them all and this is the best for actually improving mainly because if the verbal instant cues on your swing. Great to lock in feels

Amazing App!!! instant feedback with the ability to customize at different check points has really been a game changer for me. One additional feature I would love to see is the ability to draw lines circles etc.

Works great to give an idea of positions and things you may be doing wrong. However, for it to work properly the camera must be set up perfectly. I noticed on several of my recordings the camera was ever so slightly tilted which caused incorrect readings. I wish the app would have the capability to correct for tiny misalignments. With the app giving incorrect readings I cannot trust it to make adjustments to my swing plane, hip depth, etc.

Normally I don’t write reviews but after using the App for the first time I was compelled to provide a review. I’m very familiar with my swing tendencies and this tool identified them which is good. But the provided instruction and “live” feedback during practice is what takes this app to the next level! It’s like having a swing coach at my practice.

I’m a big believer in AMG and therefore this is worth a try. So far I’m loving it and can see the potential as they continue to update.

Doesn’t work on GEN 6 IPad. Says the camera is too dark.

This is the absolute best training app that you can use to get instant feedback on your golf swing. Designed and updated with the professionals from Athletic Motion Golf and their patented Swing System. The app checks your body measurements and gives you feedback on areas where the best ball-strikers on the PGA Tour and LPGA are throughout the swing. I have been a member with AMG for 5 years and it is amazing to see the progress. Now shooting below par several times a year.

There's no way to use this app with an iPhone magnet mount holder like it shows Shawn doing in the instructional video because it won't let you use the forward camera 🙄. Maybe I'll try it again when it catches up with Sportsbox which offers much more versatility than this "still in beta development" app for a similar price
