Also, support link in App Store isn't functional. Fix this, as well as prior problems reported, and I'll buy again!
  • Great for the Visit - Needs Updated

The info serves its purpose well and served its purpose but it needs updated. Much of the copy has formatting problems. It also needs a way for users to submit updates. For instance, Brown Bay beach sounded like a beautiful place worth the hike. In reality, if your destination is the beach for swimming and snorkeling, forget it. As of July 2019 the beach is a putrid, seaweed-infested, dump.

This is exactly the app I wished I had since my first visit to St. John. This is an outstanding resource. It is a portable smartphone version of the book St. John Off the Beaten Path, plus a GPS interactive version of Trail Bandit’s wonderfully detailed trail map. It can be hard to locate trail entry points, especially when driving, and this app provides a zoomable digital map with trail marks already highlighted and your GPS-based location right in the map. It includes offline storage of the data needed to be useful, so it still helps with navigation and information (other than external website links) even when there is no cell service. This is the first app I ever purchased and it is everything I hoped it would be. It is an outstanding value if you want to explore St. John beyond food, drinks, and shopping. Apologies if my excitement sounds like an infomercial - I have no ties to the app or it’s author.

I am planning a trip to St. John. Sitting down with this easy to use and comprehensive app, made me very excited about this trip. Everything I wanted to know was covered, from lodging to food to activities. I love, that there are pictures to accompany the descriptions of the beaches and hikes. Great job on this app!!!

I was really pleased with the performance of the app while I was on St. John. The updated version with the off-line option allowed me to use the app even in areas when there was no cell service. The maps, GPS and information were all available. Very useful. Helped me to find a great restaurant and a cool scuba diving operator.

pretty useless when on St. John and no wifi available. The app then just takes up space on your device. Dev--make the "entire app", all maps, destinations, photos, destination background info, etc avaiable for offline use. Stupid thing is that you don't have the option to download entire app for purely offline use. Only the trails map can be used offline--which isa very small fraction of the app. So, the other 99% of the app cannot be used as your travel companion or guide to attractions. As it is, the app is horribly limited in functionality. Very disappointed. Will give 5 stars when the entire app can be used fully without wifi.
  • Great App!!!

A must have for any one who likes to explore and get to know the Island. Wonderful pictures and lots of good practical information. Very easy to use, wether you know what you are looking for, or just fooling around with the fun random mode. It's a great app for both the seasoned visitor and the Virgin Island virgin!
