  • Can’t use on a weak connection

If I’m commuting on the subway and just want to add a simple update the app isn’t smart enough to quickly switch to offline mode and insists on trying to connect. Not to mention the incessant pop ups at every turn begging for money. I’m switching back to a simpler tracker app that requires no account and no internet connection to track my cycle and symptoms.

This app is fine. It does the job. But with the new rollout, it’s a constant barrage of pop ups asking for subscription. And locking down info I used to have access to. I wouldn’t even mind paying except that it’s $14.99/month. Like what? For what? I click one data point a month. I’d pay $1-2 a month. But there is absolutely no value at $15/month price point. You guys, $15? Per month? Who came up with that?

I love this app. I love that it's women owned. I love that you can track your symptoms and more. However, I wish the symptom tractor was more intuitive. It's very hard to interpret the trends. Like "based on your data your likely to have increases libido or something. Also what about a Clue Wrapped? Like Spotify we get a summary. "You bleed 60 gallons this year" (jk)

I didn’t give it a 5 star because my smart ring or Apple watch was not able to pair with the app unfortunately. I wear the RingConn smart ring and an Apple watch everyday. The app is good, pretty accurate according to the Mira brand (hormone monitor/ttc app) …periods are usually on point/one day off with using the app.

I’ve used this app longer than most other apps on my phone, and have developed some kind of loyalty to using it. It’s kind of nostalgic to see the months I’ve faithfully logged, and it does a really good job at predicting. However, if I could export my years of data to a different app I would. The pop ups asking you to upgrade are relentless. My recommendation is to find another app if you are looking for the first time. I will NEVER ever pay for a period tracker app. It seems there’s no way for the Clue team to understand this, as there’s no way to turn off the pop ups. They ask you for money when you open the app, when you switch to a different tab, if you accidentally touch one of the buttons whose functionality is hidden behind a paywall. It used to be user friendly. Now I’m concerned the app is beholden to its shareholders, and that’s concerning given the data they collect on you. If this frightens you, do not download this app. Make your team smaller if you can’t afford to make a good app. You don’t deserve to have a big team, if your app quality sucks. It is cowardice to hide behind the “we need money to keep growing :(“ line instead of accepting no one wants what you are needing to find.

Paid for the premium and I can’t even open it. Crashing and I can’t even access my files on a regular laptop

For some reason im getting in-app ads for wearables even though I pay for clue plus. The app works fine but between the ads and the privacy concerns, I'll be cancelling.

I was ten when I got my first period. I started tracking with clue right away. In the beginning , it was normal, but then It became irregular. I had periods spanning from 8-16 days at a time, cramps so bad I would puke, migraines, and it also began to make me anemic and took away my appetite. With some of clues articles, I found out how birth control could help me, and now, at fifteen, I have an IUD, light bleeding, no cramps, and an on track schedule. Thank you, Clue, for helping women like me around the world discover their body and find what works best for them.
