  • Wanted to give five stars, only one for not allowing Apple Pencil

I played this game years ago on my laptop, but since then my hands have become severely disabled, and the tapping that I need to do with my right hand really requires an Apple Pencil. It should be so easy for this game to enable the Apple Pencil for right handed taps. Please, please, PLEASE consider adding this Accessibility option. That one thing reduces playability for me so much that I have to give it one star instead of the five it deserves.
  • Love Subnautica, but still some glitches

The game runs fairly well considering it’s now mobile but there are a few issues. I finally got everything I needed for the seamoth but when I tried to build it all my materials got taken away and I still had no seamoth :( I haven’t had any other major issues besides general glitches.
  • Great but nightmare for Prawn operators

I’m thrilled Subnautica made it to mobile platforms. It’s the type of game that makes you wish you can wipe your memory to experience the feeling of playing it for the first time again. It’s a game that’s not only a blast to play but the lore and story are novel-worthy. I’m a console player but figured I’d give it a try on mobile and I’m thoroughly impressed. The touch controls are well-mapped and make sense. My iPhone 14 runs the game really well too. My only gripe so far is that the Prawn suit gets stuck super easily which stinks because there’s a button in the pause menu that will move your character to an unobstructed position if you get stuck. When trying this in my stuck prawn, only my character is teleported (which I guess is what it’s supposed to do but it would be cool if it fixed my stuck vehicles though) and my prawn is left stuck with no way of moving other than destroying it and building a new one. I’ve tried grappling out, restarting my game, even ramming it out with my Seamoth to no avail. I’m on my third prawn now and I’m tired, boss. Word of advice: avoid tight spots with the prawn. Especially low ceilings.

Great game! Nice mobile user interface. But very crashy. It keeps freezing up on save and I keep losing progress so unplayable for me.

Well, I don't have a single complaint, it's wonderful, my phone doesn't heat up no matter how much I've been playing, I love the graphics and everything in general, it's very rare that I like a survival game but this one is incredible and also goes up a lot of points by being in the water, on top of that if you want you don't play in survival and you can simply play it as if it were a simulator I really love this game and I'm very happy that they took it out for phone it's totally worth the price
  • Auto save doesn’t work sometimes

So sometimes when I play I open my pda and the auto save feature activates but sometimes it doesn’t load so I lose progress by having to go back to last save

Like it’ll give me the message that the Aurora is gonna explode and it will give me the suit blueprints but it just won’t explode???
  • The only difference

In subnautica mobile scanning no longer takes forever but is instant. It is GREAT. Besides that, in my 8 hours of play time I haven’t noticed ANY other difference. Even the graphics are 1:1 on the default mode. Worth $10 everyday of the week.
