  • Needs a lot of work

The image starts to shake as you work and the position of your head moves moves. This makes it almost impossible to work.
  • Too much drift

It’s really sad that they’ve stopped updating this app. It’s a great idea, but the drift is too much to be useful.
  • No controls to tilt the image

This is definitely a useful tool. There is room for improvement. For instance, currently there are no controls to tilt the projected image so that it aligns with the canvas on my easel. The image is projected perfectly vertical as if it were on a wall. Canvases on easels are typically not vertical. They are typically tilted back somewhat.
  • Amazing!

It works as I dreamed. I drew on my letter size printer paper. The photo is slightly moving while I‘m drawing, but I can keep my angle. I love this app.
  • Too much drift to be usable

This is a great concept, but I find it unusable as even the smallest amount of drift disrupts any accurate tracing.
  • Can’t recreate what I see in the advertisement

Once I import an image I am unable to interact with it or move it into a more ergonomic position. I am always loading images in at my feet and unable to reposition.
  • Good Concept, but Hardware isn’t There Yet

This may work for something very large scale like a mural, but unfortunately, the hardware tracking isn’t good enough to hold an image stable enough for anything small Like the examples
  • Frustrating

There are no how to use tutorials in the app or developer website. Was hoping this would allow me to trace photos onto canvas, however it does not work nearly as well as I had hoped. It is very tricky to get the image to be at the same depth as the canvas— it jumps either behind or in front when it’s close. Image moves all over the place and doesn’t stay still, this makes it extremely difficult to trace anything because nothing lines up properly and once you start to draw if you move your head at all or even look somewhere else the stencil moves.
  • Maybe it doesn’t work well in low light

I can place a photo on the wall then cancel that or go back and choose another photo. There is a check mark but no way to select it. Is that a paid feature? I don’t see any way to paint anything. No, I get that it is a tracing app. I wasn’t thinking of murals, and it wasn’t letting me put the image on a table. Perhaps too dark or Vision OS 1.1 beta? It works better now. Sorry for the confusion.
  • A good start

Anchorless is such a cool concept however, with the Vision Pro, I believe having an anchor would greatly improve the location. There is a little drift when moving the head side to side or up and down I placed an image onto the wall and put my finger on the subjects eye, and as I moved around, the eye was no longer where I placed my finger so the anchor I think is necessary. If it’s possible to anchor solely using the Vision Pro and create some thing as large as what you could do with mural maker, I think that is what would be incredibly valuable for this piece of tech.
