  • Wrongful Time Periods During Practice Tests

    I downloaded this app, specifically to use the practice tests for my AP classes. But every time I start a test, it gives me wrong information about what i’m supposed to be tested on. For example, I used the practice test for AP U.S History. When I click a specific period I want to be tested on, it gives me questions that are related to periods later. I have already checked multiple times to make sure that I haven’t clicked anything else. I now have to find something else to test myself on.

    i have to wait for the page to be responsive on my computer and if it does load, none of the buttons work and i can’t edit my flash cards. it’s memory usage is super high and my progress doesn’t sync up with it on my phone

    This app is fantastic for studying! However, while I mainly use it for it’s photo flash card feature, every time I made a card set it deletes half my terms. Help!

  • Apush Unit Mixed Problem

    This app is great for practice overall, but the unit selection feature really needs improvement. When I choose a specific unit, it gives me questions that aren’t even related. For example, I selected Unit 6 for MCQ Practice, yet I kept getting questions from completely different topics; like European exploration from 1491–1607. Like bro, that’s literally Unit 1. It’s frustrating because it makes targeted studying way harder than it should be.

    I’ve been trying all of the vocabulary card apps for many years. I’ve been very pleased with the way Knowt works. For one, it has saved me so much time from exporting & importing since Knowt can read a page and create the stack. Its spaced repetition feature is terrific. There are more ways to format text than other apps. I’m using Knowt every day.

  • Absolutely do not get this app

    They offer a “3 day trial,” but when you choose it, it immediately charges you over $100 for a yearly subscription. I reached out to support to ask for a refund because it wasn’t even a trial, and they said i had to request it from Apple Support. So i did, TWICE, and apple support declined it. Now i’m out over $100 to these scammers.

    the app itself is fine except for the fact that you have to pay to use the best tools (or the ones that are advertised). i only needed the tools from this app for one exam, and was disappointed to find that i had to pay for them. the only option was a yearly plan, and there was no shorter duration (which is also frustrating as i honestly could not afford the amount that was being charged) but the app offered me a free trial. so i decided to try the free trial. i never received any sort of trial and was charged immediately. so now i have been wrongfully charged and have a service that i no longer have any need or use for.

    There is a cool import tool that allows you to import a list of terms and definitions and you can customize line breaks. You can whip up a term list in 5 mins using Knowt AI or another ai platform and then importing the list to Knowt. Then just hop into learn and you’re golden! Learn and practice tests are FREE!

  • Great until it deletes lectures

    This app is great as long as you only use it on your phone. It rarely gives me problems on there but it is so glitchy on my iPad. There are times I’m not allowed to have my phone out in class but I always have my iPad and Knowt will just randomly cut off which makes me lose all the info that has been recorded. For a $60 app it should not be doing this. I will not repurchase.
