If I could give it a 100 stars !!!
  • Notes went away

So disappointed that the notes I had logged with my weight for several years all disappeared and no opportunity to add more. It was so hopeful to remember life events that triggered gains and losses. Even just being able to add the year to the date was helpful when reviewing progress.
  • Miss the old food calculator…

Noon is a wonderful weight loss program which helped me lose 20+ pounds with psychology a few years back. Life happens and I need to do it again but now the calorie calculator has changed and is no longer FREE. The food calculator should be free!!
  • Upsetting app

I enjoy using the Noom app, however, every week the app freezes and I’m unable to input my information onto the platform. I have to delete the app and then add it again and redo all my info. Just a little frustrating.
  • Recent Update ruined user experience completely

Before you read: I’ve been a long time fan and supporter of noom since the start. I’m very disappointed and shocked at the user experience quality drop with this recent update. Subscriber since 2021, recommended it to everyone. Lost 50 pounds on it and maintained. After this update, I am no longer a subscriber, will not be recommending it, no longer using it. The recent update brought very poor visual and interface design + visual clutter to a seamless and simple perfected app layout. GLP-1’s ads are covering the entire app, there are random visual elements and unnecessary features added. Denigrates user experience severely, with no option to opt out or have a simple interface. Unskippable cutscenes and pop ups that add time to logging and make it a chore. Seed feature comes across very annoying in its implementation. I’ve been using noom for years and was a long time subscriber. The app was so helpful for me due to how clean and simple it was. The new update attempts to gamify weight loss and feels extremely cluttered and grating. There are now multiple pop ups, numerous almost “cutscene” like notifications that you can’t exit out of that interrupt logging anything and navigation. It goes from feeling like an accomplishment to feeling like a chore very quickly in a world of notifications, visual clutter, and severe fatigue inducing ads on apps, the internet and social media.
  • Too Cumbersome! Too many Ads!

It takes an act of congress just to log your meals. No, I don’t want to see if BCBS will pay for the app. No I don’t want to see if I qualify for GLP-1s. I just want to log my food! I’ve deleted my app and will stick to something simpler (Fitness Pal).

I used the app for more than a month. And it says you get rewards with steps but it’s not complete right. Because for getting a 5 dollar card I have to got 24000 seeds and you got seed every day you walk, but the ratio is illogical. I have en average 10.000 steps per day, and that corresponds to 100 seed. So, I HAVE TO WALW FOR ABOUT 240 DAY TO GET 5 DOLLARS! Does not make sense

  • New update is terrible

I don’t usually review apps, but when my Noom app asked if I wanted to update and see the new free features. But after downloading the new features, it seems all it did was remove my favorite features from my free version of the app. I can’t view my overall calorie goals now, I can’t see the foods that I’m eating that are considered orange or yellow. All I have is a step goal and a green foods calorie goal. I think it’s really lame to ask if I wanted more free features, but really remove the only reasons I used this app. I’m going to delete it in search of a better app, but I’ve used Noom for the last 3 years. Incredibly disappointing. Editing to add: I’ve started using Cronometer and its free version is incredible. I highly recommend anyone looking for a good free weight loss app to give that one a try.
  • Glitches

Having issues recording my meals or trying to press done and nothing changes. I end up having to redo the meal record all over again. Scan meal or describe meal sometimes doesn’t work. The app doesn’t even record my active energy even though it’s suppose to be connected to by health app.
