    The app used to take me to top of the article when I click on upper corner. When I click back it takes me back to home page if I read an article for too long. Disappointing as NYT, WSJ don’t. And Globe is a paper that I never share with non-subscribers as I can only share 1 free article within 90 days period.

    Every time I use the app I inadvertently open an ad, usually several times. It’s often hard to get back to the article. I’m sure it’s helping the click through rate, but it’s no way to treat a paying customer

    I’ve subscribed for years and want to support free press. But the latest digital layout is unappealing and difficult to use. Too much emphasis on sports and too little intelligent reporting on politics, arts, and culture. Democracy was in question during the last election, and the Globe headlines were about the Celtics. The same stories sit there for weeks. I’ll take The NY Times instead.

    Great content and solid app, with one very annoying aspect — every time I lock my screen midway through an article, or briefly switch to another app, the article refreshes to the top of the page. The previous version of the Globe app — and every other news app I enjoy (WSJ, Atlantic, NYT etc) — does not have this problem. Please, please fix it!

    I pay for an online subscription and have a miserable time loading it. As I attempted to view today’s e-paper, I saw a description of last night’s opening routine for SNL and then yesterday’s paper downloaded. Today’s wasn’t accessible. Follow Trump’s method. Charge more and provide less. That’s how to make money.

  • The new interface is a step backwards

    Not responsive to scrolling. Must scroll up and down to see content (the previous version had fixed that) please give me an option to revert to the previous user interface, which was much better.

    About two or three times a year the Globe fails to upload the days edition. So I resort to this site which is always troublesome.

    It drives me nuts seeing the same stories repeated each day within the app. Also the design, boxing each report, is lame and unattractive. It’s a shame because it’s a good newspaper.
