What happened to this game? Everything looks ugly and is expensive. We can't even convert our covet cash into diamonds. I hate this game now.

The game has changed so much in the past few months. It no longer features designs from real designers and now uses AI for non-trendy, boring clothes. More and more items cost diamonds which are hard to earn yet challenges often reward Covet cash. The most disappointing thing is that there are numerous glitches in the game that aren’t getting fixed and zero response from customer support. It feels like the developers are deliberately tanking the game. Save your sanity and don’t bother with this game.
  • Update: this game is terrible

Idk what you all have done with the actual brands but an entire season of overpriced covet basics only is an abomination. Just shut the game down at this point. This is a waste of everybody’s time.
  • EA’s Greed Killed the Game

Long story short, EA has run this game into the ground and made it fully pay-to-play. I have been a daily player since Summer 2019 and have invested a lot of time into what was once a great game but now just feels like a chore. Do yourself a favor and don't download it; you will save yourself a lot of time and frustration. I'm sure there are many more terrible choices that I am forgetting, but here is a short list of changes EA has made that have made the game unplayable: 1. Thanks to the falsely advertised new "seasonless" challenges, every challenge is now a flashback, meaning that they all require diamonds to enter. Diamonds must be purchased with real money, making this game impossible to play without spending a fortune. 2. EA has ended all brand partnerships and replaced real designers' clothes with their Al slop brand "Covet Basics." Unlike seasonless challenges, this new addition to the game was appropriately named: every Covet Basics item is a painfully basic Al rip off of a real designer's work. The inclusion of a variety of real-life brands was what made Covet unique compared to other fashion games, but now that heart and soul of the game has been gutted by stolen Al designs. 3. EA has eliminated Modern mode, forcing players to switch to Classic. While I have always preferred Classic mode myself due to its higher variety of makeup customization options, this change is unfair to Modern players and I believe it reflects a bias towards certain body types. Now that Modern mode has been retired, players are forced to style only skinny models. This sudden elimination of the game's representation of all body types is discriminatory and a major step backwards on EA's part. 4. There are glitches everywhere, and it is next to impossible to get a help ticket answered in time to fix them. These glitches often impede gameplay, as they have prevented me from entering challenges before they go into voting and have cost my fashion house rallies. Customer service takes over a week to answer tickets (if they answer at all), doesn’t even read the ticket, and refuses to compensate players for prizes missed due to bugs. Considering the aforementioned shift to Al generated clothes and the elimination of an entire game mode, one would think that EA would have a lot of extra time on their hands to fix bugs. Instead the bugs have overrun the game, and it takes longer than ever to get them fixed. Maybe the customer service reps have been replaced by AI too. 5. All of the recent new levels added have not really been "new," but rather recolors, mashups, or straight up copies of existing hair and makeup from older levels. Similarly, many new hair accessories and prop packs are very similar to existing ones and/or clearly made by Al. Combined with the lack of new clothing items being added to the game, there is nothing new for loyal longtime players to look forward to. Yet also, due to every challenge being a flashback, it is also impossible for new players to play at all, taking the joy out of the game for everyone. 6. EA censors its own name in the fashion house chat. This is not really a problem, I just think it's interesting that they don't want their players talking about all of the terrible changes they have made to the game... Maybe if they actually listened to their players instead of making everything a blatant cash grab, people would be more inclined to spend money on the game they once loved. Remember EA, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

The game got boring since Covet decided not to work with designers and let us play with real clothes. Now everything is generic and boring.
  • NO LONGER A GOOD GAME.

This game is no longer fun or a way to be a creative outlet. It’s sad to see how generic covet fashion became. Very surprising
  • Going downhill

Since the game stopped using actual designer clothes it has become boring and repetitious. There are just a few styles and then they make them in all different colors. Everything costs pretty much the same - little differentiation in the prices of clothes. Planning to stop playing.

It feels like they use nothing but AI now for everything and it’s not as fun as it used to be. The bugs are ridiculous and they take forever to fix it and ignore you for days, they used to fix things the same day you reported it. Also the challenges and clothes have been hideous lately. Definitely thinking of leaving the game and a lot of people in my house feel the same way.
