Used to read my daily/monthly limit and be happy to Have a few free articles. Now nothing is free and they’re just another all for profit news service.

Only works a couple times then they want $4 a month That was never mentioned when I downloaded it. The entire format feels like a 2nd grader laid out this app… clunky zero thought. Combine that with them Wanting $4/month and that’s a hard no for me!
  • Great coverage and improved app

I find the app more user-friendly since the latest update that also requires a paid subscription. The videos and podcasts are direct and to the point, while the articles provide the quality reporting that Reuters is known for. I am tired of all the subscriptions but $4 for news from one of the most reputable organizations in the world is a small price to pay. I have a print subscription to the Economist but am glad I went ahead and added Reuters for digital breaking news.
  • No notifications

I paid $45 for a year subscription because I like Reuters and appreciate the (mostly) unbiased news reporting. However, I never get notifications anymore. I’ve tried to turn them on and off several times. I liked receiving notifications of breaking news and major headlines. Now it’s useless.
  • Can’t Stay Signed In

The app signs me out and paywalls me every day despite my active subscription. I cannot sign back in without reinstalling the app but the next day I’m signed out again. I’ve been reading Reuters for the past decade but now have to find another news source. Unsubscribed.

As a paid subscriber I am very disappointed with the way news can be filtered The navigation needs an overhaul Filtering should be easier and ability to follow topics much easier
  • App is not good

I’m willing to pay for this app, but it’s ugly and awkward to use. Additionally, why can’t videos be played in the background when I turn my screen off? That’s a strange feature. Please fix this; it’s not 1990 anymore. Also why so many of you complaing about pricing. It is only 4$ witch is large Sturbucks coffee and that for a whole month.
  • Bad move

Reuters was always my first choice news source as I felt it was the best when it came to reporting news in a non-biased way. I was sad when they switched to being a paid subscription service. I’m fine with having ads if they need extra funding, but sorry, I’m not willing to have yet ANOTHER monthly subscription. Farewell!

  • Forced to pay for public news

Greed has now taken over Reuters. The company is already tracking your every move once you download the app. Now they want you to pay a monthly fee to read the news on top of it. What used to be one of the most stellar news services in the world, has now introduced a paywall to read daily news. There are plenty of free options available over the Internet to get your news. Time to dump this app.
