Nothing you can do but deal with it as MSO is a must in today’s world. Though, the app has to have access to data to use. Always makes you sign in, even when you just closed it. Hyperlinks everything you put in. Which is default. You cannot change. Again, nothing you can do. MSO is a nightmare we all deal with. Their paid reviews can bury the truth but everyone knows.

I tried to sign in yesterday and was unable to after to many attempts it told me I would have to wait until today. There was no consideration for how important my reason for needing to use the app. Most other apps have me wait a few minutes to a couple of hours. Because of this I won’t renew my subscription next year.

Unsurprisingly, a Microsoft product does not play nice with non-Microsoft cloud products.

The challenge is that Microsoft has not added key features that provide a rich experience. For example, power query is not included although the recent iPads have likely more than enough compute power to handle it. That is just one example and it applies to the entire office suite on iPad and iOS.
