This app used to be great. Now it is unusable unless you pay to avoid ads. It wouldn’t be so bad if you could make the ads go away. But they have made that very difficult and time consuming to the point of utter frustration.

This went from a good app with a responsible number of ads that I was more than happy to sit through for the usefulness of the app. But now, the number and duration of ads had actually made it completely unusable.i mean truly unusable.

By the time you finally get through the six ads, it takes to get to the metro or bus schedule. You’ve already missed your ride. I should not have to pay a monthly subscription to see a bus schedule.

This app was so helpful, and I’m even fine watching a short ad or two. But having to watch ads of increasing length before you can see the wait times renders this app unusable and ineffective. Deleting.
  • Advertisements ruin the app please? Shame on metro

Doesn’t serve the purpose it was designed to be built for- Please figure out a more useful way to make a profit.

I’ve been using this app for countless years, and I’ve always suggested it to others. I am totally fine with some ads because at this point everything has ads, but the amount of ads that have been added to this app are ridiculous, and it’s infuriating. They are timed for a very long time, which is not convenient if you’re trying to transfer or are running late. The ads have rendered this app unusable unless you want to throw your phone out of frustration. Sadly, I will have to start using maps now to see the times.

This was a great app before the ads came in. Now we can’t see the status of our trains unless we sit through multiple ads without skip buttons. Pointless as most use this app while we’re trying to get to our train or connection.

Used to be a short picture ad before metro times, now it’s all video ads with sound and multiple steps to close them to view a bus or metro time. If you want to check another train, have fun with another ad. I used to use this all the time but it’s unusable now. Get any other app or bookmark the wmata page.
